Taboo Busting Senate Candidate Makes a Mockery of Leftism in Trump’s Shadow

Graham Platner, a Democratic candidate running for Senate in Maine is in the news cycle. Huffy Sinner Platner snarls at newly developing stories of his bad habits in a US Senate candidacy seemingly more likely from a socialist high schooler’s campaign than for American leadership. Platner, like an amateur mortician, reminds us that we all have skeletons in our closets to tend.

American leftists are truly becoming unhinged in their mad dash for power

The New York Times spoke to 3 of Platner’s former girlfriends, who said his behavior was “toxic.” Main girlfriend, Lyndsey Fifield, recalled an argument when Platner “twisted her arm behind her back, shoved her into a bedroom and held the door closed from the other side so she couldn’t get out, telling her to remain there until she was ‘calm.’” Fifield also said Platner knew his distinctive tattoo was a Nazi symbol.

In Platner’s approach and his Democrat support, is the potential destruction of the Liberal Weltanschauung, or world view, which threatens their entire holier-than-Mao socialist beliefs. Let’s not forget the Left’s abuse of societal taboos is capable of exposing their entire beliefs as fraudulent and just meant for manipulating the naive. So, to treat the abuse of women, or Nazi totenkopfs as a joke, will likely cause permanent erosion of leftist values. In other words, American leftists are truly becoming unhinged in their mad dash for power.

During Platner’s years as an online troll, he posted numerous comments--calling himself a “communist” in 2021; in 2020 that “all cops” were bastards; used an anti-gay slur in 2018; and, in 2013, argued women shouldn’t get blackout drunk if they opposed sexual assault.

Now, Platner is exposed as sexting other women while married, with perhaps a dozen women involved. Fifield also said Platner pulled her out of a cab by her wrist after an argument when she wanted to stay in the car. Oddly, Platner also threatened to rape those who menaced him. Fifield claiming, "He said this a lot: If anybody ever broke in here, I would rape them," but not in a sexual or "gay" way. Fifield added that Platner stated he would want to instead impose dominance over them through penetration and that he believed rape was about power.

We shall remain to see whether Democrats can even survive as a national party in the next few years

When the combat veteran turned supposed oyster farmer announced he was running for Senate, Platner's tattoo of a Nazi-symbol came to light. Platner has said many times that he didn't know the skull and crossbones resembled a Nazi SS sign and that he was drunk with his fellow Marines when he got the tattoo in 2007.

Several points must be drawn out, here. First, that Democrats are dangerously close to asserting that the only thing that matters is political power. This explosive doctrine was asserted by Friedrich Nietzsche in his Will to Power. So how will Democrats escape this outcome? This Nihilism is the home philosophy of Marxism, the threadbare pursuit of power.

Second, along with the veneration of Platner is an ironic return to the acknowledgment that masculinity does have an important place in our society. Although Platner’s approach is both abusive and dishonest in his actions.

Third, the eventual conclusion here is that Trump’s style and philosophy are so powerful and effective that it must be admitted out loud. And so the Donald is legitimized and honored by the Democrats' crazed and wholly instinctive attempt to draft Platner into the US Senate to wrest away power from the GOP. Sadly Platner is utterly unfit for national office.

It is a relief to see the Democrats are so power mad as to have lost their ability to make realistic strategies to take over the national government. Now, we shall remain to see whether Democrats can even survive as a national party in the next few years.
