Lackawanna, NY (WBEN) - Authorities in western New York say they've arrested a 44-year-old man on a charge of attempting to support the Islamic State group.

Arafat Nagi was arraigned Wednesday morning on charges that he attempted to support a designated terrorist organization. "Nagi attempted to join this terrorist organization, and specifically pledged allegiance to it and it's leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi," said US Attorney Bill Hochul. More...
