The American Golden Opportunity

Many nations around the world have always required immigrants to prove that they were able to be financially self-supporting before being allowed to migrate. The reason, of course, was that the nation did not want an invasion of people who would become a financial burden on the nation’s citizen taxpayers. This approach to immigration is a perfectly reasonable way to control the kind of people who wish to adopt a new county. The United States of America, historically, was not one of those nations.

Starting in 2009, illegal immigration morphed into an unvetted foreign invasion

The United States of America, heretofore, did not use that approach to immigration because the very foundation of America was based on immigration of people from all over Europe. For the first 100 years of America’s existence there were no limitations, whatsoever, on immigration into the United States. Until 1882, all immigration was legal immigration. In 1882, the first limitations were put into place to limit Chinese immigration. Then in 1924, limits for certain other countries were put into place. Since then, illegal immigration has been a problem, a largely ignored problem, but a problem, nonetheless. Then starting in 2009, illegal immigration morphed into an unvetted foreign invasion supported by a complicit socialist Democrat President Barack Obama. Starting in 2021, it morphed again into an explosive foreign invasion encouraged and endorsed by the socialist Biden administration.

America’s natural kindness in regard to post World War II immigration demonstrates the principle that “no good deed goes unpunished.” America, because of Donald Trump, has now learned an important lesson by watching the trials and tribulations of the modern European nations about uncontrolled immigration and the dangers that exist concerning losing a nation’s culture and identity. On the very first day of President Trump’s second term, he slammed the doors shut at American sovereign borders. Since that day, the Trump administration has deported more than a half million of the worst of the worst violent and criminal illegal aliens, and some two million illegal aliens have self-deported with hopes of someday returning to America legally.

Immigration “Gold Card"

For a few months now, President Trump has been talking about his immigration “Gold Card.” This is a new effort to attract qualified people who wish to immigrate to the United States of America to assimilate and become productive members of American society. There are two versions of the card, one for individuals and a version where an American company can sponsor qualified individuals for employment purposes. There is an application fee to cover the cost of United States officials to vet the applicant. America has always been welcoming to new legal immigrants who intend to adopt our culture and become Americans. Because of the way the melting pot known as America was established, unlike any other nation on the planet, one can come to America and become a fully vested American. You can go to France and never become a Frenchman. You can go to England, yet never become an Englishman, and you can go to Spain and never become a Spaniard. The United States of America is the only place on earth where you can come from somewhere else and become an American.

President Trump has fired up a new Golden Age of America. He has now opened up new golden opportunities for people around the world who would like to take advantage of all the opportunities of America’s liberty, free enterprise, and free market culture. Most important, these new immigrants will not be a drain on the American taxpayers.

I anticipate that thousands of people will take advantage of the Gold Card opportunity. I’m betting that these people will be fleeing socialist and communistic countries. Democrat Party, take note, because we and they want no part of your socialist tyranny.
