Next GOP candidate to oppose Obama,

The Anti-Obama for 2012

While the pundits of the establishment press (Journolists) along with their illegitimate children of the Internet are busy trying to choose the next GOP candidate to oppose Obama, the real heart and soul of America are busy repudiating each selection on conservative websites and blogs.

When the Washington Post set out a glowing piece on Indiana's Mitch Daniels suggesting that he might be the new face of the GOP, real conservatives who track such nonsense launched their disgust on comment boards everywhere. If you want to know what Americans who actually give a damn about this country being free from the present tyranny really think, I suggest you read the comments and weigh the depth of intelligent and p[politically astute responses. Some of the favorites I follow are the Heritage Foundation, Free Republic, Townhall, Michelle Malkin, Instapundit, Iowahawk, and Lucianne.com. Obviously there are many others like Doug Giles, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity--but interestingly even the Canada Free Press finished ahead of O'Reilly, Hannity, and others in a rating of the top 100 conservative sites. But my very favorite for the acumen and the hilarity of the comments is Lucianne! This brings me to the perfect candidate to square off against the Imposter in Chief. By reading the many comments it's easy to see that ANY candidate selected by the MSM will not be on the ticket. Therefore you can kiss the following would be candidates good-bye:
  1. Mitt Romney: The Mormon thing isn't the problem. Romneycare and RINO ties along with being endorsed by the Bush family
  2. Newt Gingrich: More baggage than a fleet of 757's could haul and just not likeable.
  3. Mike Huckabee: Another Arkansas hick with RINO lining!
  4. John Bolton: You gotta love the guy but seriously will not challenge in any primaries.
  5. Ron Paul: They like him but cannot see him as a winner with mass appeal
  6. Donald Trump: Conservatives love his ‘taking it to Obama' but do not take him seriously.
  7. John Huntsman: Obama butt kisser with a snowball's chance...
  8. Mitch Daniels: Short on stature--also short on true conservative leadership--RINO.
  9. Tim Pawlenty: Who?
  10. Herman Cain: They love him, but could Middle America vote for a real black president?
  11. Rick Santorum: About as exciting as Tiger Woods since the Mistress Mess.
  12. Michele Bachmann: Good looking, well liked, ah--probably not.
  13. Chris Christie: If you can shake the Mafia ties rumors he could eat Obama's lunch, and Michelle's too.
  14. Gary Johnson: Who?
  15. Rick Perry: Texas two step might look too much like a Mitt Romney waltz to some.
  16. Sarah Palin: They love her, and the MSM is terrified of her, but if her negatives are really that deep she may stick to money making speeches.
So who is the anti-Obama? Is it someone listed above, or someone yet to emerge? The perfect candidate is the best of all the above, minus the negatives. In other words, there is no perfect star that will rise to challenge Obama. But then again, you don't have to be perfect to beat an incumbent president who makes Jimmy Carter look competent.
