It wasn’t always about illegal immigrant transgender prisoners.

Quite the opposite, actually. Despite their flaws, many of yesteryear’s D.C. leftists had an earnest grasp of what was true and a clear understanding of what ideas were just too crazy.

Imagine taking someone from back then and transporting them to today. What would they think? Former Illinois Democrat Governor Rod Blagojevich effectively experienced just that. He went to prison in 2012 and couldn’t believe what his party had become when he reemerged eight years later.
