The Feelings of Sentient Beings

This morning on the NFL Network I was watching a show called "NFL Game Day Morning."

PSA: For those of you who have given up on professional football, I feel your pain. I don't watch the NBA anymore, and the NFL from a political viewpoint is getting more difficult, especially since my favorite player who is a Christian and a class act, Derek Carr, is on the trading block. That said, baseball and football are my two favorite sports, and despite the fact that it seems most of the players, and the sportscasting community, are nothing more than a bunch of progressive leftist commies, the game is still largely pure on the field and as long as I don't look at the asinine sayings on the backs of their helmets, I can watch the games without wanting to throw a brick at my television (or computer screen, depending on how I am viewing them at the moment).

The program was previewing the playoff games over the weekend, and a segment with a couple of ladies came on that caught my attention (speaking of "woke" sportscasters). The segment was titled "Game Theory," hosted by Cynthia Frelund and Rachel Bonnetta. The aim of the segment was to talk about odds. Some teams made it to the playoffs against the odds, and some of the teams in the playoffs still largely have the odds against them to advance. In the first part of the segment by the pair of ladies women humans people they on the screen the discussion was about "Wild Card teams with highest odds to win their conference" (in other words, winning their playoff games, and winning their conference title game, which would get them to the $uper B0w1). The initial team listed was the Dallas Cowboys, which has a 13% chance. Second on the list was the New York Giants at 7%. Then, third on the list was the San Diego, oops, I mean Los Angeles Chargers who came in at a whopping 6%. Rachel made it apparent that the Chargers was her team, without necessarily saying it, and the following words were said in the interchange between Cynthia and Rachel:

Rachel: Okay, Chargers. Just give it to me straight. What's the deal? Cynthia: Six. Six percent. Rachel, at this point, dropped her head to her chest, hiding her face behind her black hair and against her semi-translucent green long-sleeve form-fitting blouse that failed to hide the outline of her bra. Cynthia: I - I - It's - It's six - It's - I'm sorry. They're getting healthier. Doesn't that mean anything? Rachel: The model... Cynthia: The model's not sentient, so you can be mad at it, if you want, it - it doesn't feel anything. No feelings.

And, there it was. If it is sentient, if it has feelings, you can't be mad at it. Being mad at it might hurt its feelings, if it was a person, but since a mindless electronic computer algorithm came up with the numbers, you're safe from any sadness from making someone sad because you didn't like what they had to say. Are you kidding me? They are so "woke", so overly sensitive that even a percentage based on a team's likelihood to go beyond their early playoff games would be something they would tippy-toe around if the entity that came up with the numbers was human? When will humanity grow a spine, and quit being apologetic and freaky about everything. Remember the old saying? "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me." If you don't like what I am writing, don't read it. If you feel strong enough about it that you wish to send me a negative comment or an email telling me I am full of that stuff some people call fertilizer, knock yourself out. It won't hurt my feelings, it won't make me cry, and to be honest your opinion will likely not mean much to me. If it does mean anything it'll be because I use this thing called "critical thinking" to analyze it and realize that perhaps I can garner some wisdom out of it...or not. And if that hurts your feelings, you are a spineless turd who is perfect for the Marxist communist model the hard left is putting together, so just crawl into whatever mega-region stack-em-and-pack-em complex they have devised for you and enjoy your happy-happy-joy-joy bondage. As for me, I am going to drive my gasoline powered truck to a fast-food joint to eat the meatiest item I can buy, and then drive in front of some person with a coexist bumper sticker so that they have to read my pro-guns, anti-abortion, pro-Trump, anti-socialism, pro-military, pro-constitution bumper stickers while they whirr behind me behind their face mask in their all-electric shoebox car that would not save them if it ever got hit as I navigate to the parking lot of the local gun store. Never mind me, I have some football to watch, and an ultra-conservative, pro-constitution radio program to get ready for (KMET 1-3pm Pacific and KPRZ 9pm Pacific, Saturdays). Oh, and if the National Anthem is played on the TV before the game (which hardly ever happens anymore due to these over-sensitive brainwashed tools of the left) I stand and salute, and most of the time drop a few tears because of how much I love my country. P.S. Please send this article to all of the libtard, mask-wearing, jab-getting, capitalism-hating, democracy-loving, anti-federal republic, anti-constitution, alphabet lifestyle loving people you can. Now that, my friends, would put a great big smile on my face.
