Castleton Public School ~ slated for demolition in the very near future! There will be a Reunion celebrating the 80 years of the school. An Open House at the school is planned for Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Former students, teachers, principals, support staff & interested community members are invited to return to tour the old school one last time to check out the displays and pictures collected. Send/Bring your graduating class photo & school photos to be scanned for placement in the Memory Book that will be completed after the reunion.

Take a tour of the village to visit the historical buildings including the Castleton General Store, the restored Castleton Town Hall and stop for refreshments ($3.00) at the Castleton United Church. In the evening, an informal pay ~ as ~ you ~ go BBQ will take place at the Castleton Sports Club Fields (directly behind the school) or pack your own picnic style dinner. Remember to bring your lawn chairs. Share your talent ~ bring your musical instrument or talent prompts for an open mic session. To have your name included on the program, please contact the committee. If you would like to purchase a Memory Book, you can place your order at the Reunion or contact the committee. If you own a business and would like to place a business card size ad in the memory book at a price of $50.00, please contact the committee.
