A lie is still a lie even if everyone believes it and the truth is still the truth even if no one believes it.

The Indecency Of The Decency Agenda

Deception and sleight of hand are tools of the trade for the woke, liberal left. When they are not outright lying, they are twisting the truth and projecting what they are doing onto others. For instance, the left is using the word “decency” to camouflage their true intent, which in this case is the continued corruption of our children’s minds.

Hearing the word decency and Democrat in the same sentence should raise the hair on every red-blooded American's neck

A short while ago, the speaker of the House of Delegates, Adrienne Jones, D-Baltimore County, announced what she calls her “decency agenda.” Hearing the word decency and Democrat in the same sentence should raise the hair on every red-blooded American's neck.

The speaker said in her announcement: “I am not asking for Marylanders to believe in what I believe in or compromise their values. We know that we will never agree on everything, and we shouldn’t. To me, decency is about respect. Respect for our community, co-workers, friends, and families.”

That all sounds nice, but it has nothing to do with what Jones is proposing. If you peek beneath the sheets of her carefully named lie, you will easily find the truth of what her ultimate goal is. This so-called decency act includes more deceitfully named “nondiscrimination” bills. One named the Freedom to Read Act would strip local libraries that are state-funded from regulating, restricting, or eliminating, access to pornographic materials.

This is a moot point for anyone that not been in a cave for the past several years. The left wants to paint common sense conservatives as “book banners.” They want people to believe that those on the right are stifling the rights of children to read. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. What sensible Americans want to do is to eliminate the caliber of smut that radical progressives are trying to force upon our kids.

The left’s argument is similar to them arguing that by not allowing someone to yell “Fire” in a crowded gathering, conservatives are limiting free speech. It’s ridiculous and just another attempt to corrupt our society.

What they want is not normal and they need to be stopped

Public libraries as well as public schools are there to educate, not corrupt young vulnerable minds. Public schools should only focus on teaching reading, writing, math, and critical thinking so that our children can flourish in the real world. The libraries within those schools as well as any public library should not provide sexually explicit materials, especially when it is not age-appropriate.

Conservatives are not book banners, but common sense, values and traditions still exist and need to be protected. There is no justification for elementary or even middle school children to be exposed to alternative and in many cases hedonistic lifestyles.

A lie is still a lie even if everyone believes it and the truth is still the truth even if no one believes it. It’s time for the American people to stop allowing the left to define what “normal” is. What they want is not normal and they need to be stopped. A great place to start is to stop caving into their ridiculous demands and to understand that they treat language in a manipulative manner. What they say is rarely what they want. Their ultimate goals are always buried in sugar-coated or what seems to be logical speech. However, the exact opposite is true.

A perfect example is how they call themselves “progressives” when there is nothing progressive in their repertoire. That is of course unless you believe that returning to the time of Sodom and Gomorrah is progress.

I personally don’t and I refuse to believe that the large majority of Americans do either.
