The Liberal Ring through their Nose

Blanco's Blog Normally I would not quote another journalist but in this case Kelly Mc Parland, NP Editor, National Post has written one of the best summaries of the current state of the Liberal Party of Canada and Mr. Ignatieff’s failing leadership. The full article can be seen on the National Post Website under the title: If Harper is scary, Ignatieff must be scarier, published May 19, 2010.

“You’re the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. You have been leader for well over a year. Your party has just spent the winter portraying the government and Prime Minister as willing — even eager — accomplices in the torture of foreign combatants, enemies of women, keepers of a secret agenda that surreptitiously opposes abortion rights and discriminates against impoverished women in developing countries. You have argued ceaselessly that the government is obsessed with secrecy, is deliberately hiding critical documents from public scrutiny, and is increasingly contemptuous of Parliament. You’ve hounded the prime minister into firing a troublesome minister whose antics raised serious questions about the way business gets done in Ottawa. The country has just gone through one of the most frightening economic periods in a generation, a situation that usually reflects badly on the government of the day. Yet an opinion poll finds that, given a choice, voters would pick almost anyone else, including the target of all your party’s scorn, as Prime Minister. Far from making inroads against a government faced with any number of challenges, you place dead last when Canadians are asked to identify their favourite leader. What do you do? Almost since the moment he became Conservative leader, Liberals have been trying to convince Canadians Mr. Harper is “scary”. He’ll take away your rights. He’ll give everyone guns. He’ll make everyone go to church on Sunday. He’s just like George W. Bush. If it was up to Harper we’d be fighting in Iraq. He hates the arts. He secretly hates gays. He discriminates against women. This man is b-a-a-a-a-a-d with a capital B. And yet … Canadians trust Mr. Ignatieff less than they trust Mr. Harper. Mr. Ignatieff hasn’t had to run anything yet. He hasn’t had to introduce policies for people to complain about. He hasn’t had to deal with an international economic meltdown. He’s had 18 months to demonstrate that all those brains can be put to practical advantage. And he hasn’t made an inch of headway.” So back to the title of this writer’s article and the business of the a nose ring through Liberal Party supporter’s noses.

Where did the Nose Ring come from?

For 40 plus years it has been obvious that the Liberal propagandists have so massively conned Canadians of the leftist persuasion that they no longer have any idea who they are. Without any solid view of themselves as Canadians that actually have the strongest principles in the world to uphold, the left-liberals have been vulnerable to being led anywhere their leaders and their mass media have pulled them by that metaphoric nose ring. Heaven help anyone that tries to cut them off their entitlements. Multiculturalism, healthcare and the fat government sector unions that are their cuddly bears. Their children must be brought up from age three to be indoctrinated in all things mandated by their masters of the nose ring. No wonder they believe their master’s voice that the Harper government, or any conservative government, represents the devil incarnate. No wonder their response is predictably extreme and unprincipled. Now and then they have achieved a useful result but overall the damage done is virtually irreversible. They have created an amorphous mass of 18 to 50-year old citizens plus immigrant Canadians from non-free societies that are unable to resist the lure of government entitlements, racial and skin colour grants and a deceitful story-line of their unprincipled leaders. That story line is that Canadians are racist, have no identifiable culture (except for our precious Quebecois francophone culture) and therefore our poor downtrodden minorities are in need of special plans, laws and funding to fight the majority and retain their own cultures here in Canada. Canada, as a result, now verges on being trampled into the muddy floor of so many other failed civilizations and the plunge in the number of the citizens that even bother to vote reflects their utter disgust with all politicians. “A plague on all your houses!” say the non-voters.

How to explain the Canadian malaise?

I am an 85 year-old English-speaking Canadian, born and raised in Canada and one of some 1.1 million volunteer WW 2 veteran Canadian soldiers; so let me put it this way: I do not know one single solitary Canadian war veteran, ninety-nine percent volunteering to fight for this country that went to war with the idea that he or she was fighting to preserve healthcare or the Canada Pension Plan – or the Pogy. I do not know one single veteran who went overseas to bring massive numbers of refugees and immigrants to this country that would be forever designated by our Liberal handlers (because of their race, skin colour etc) under a fancy new Charter of Rights and Freedoms as “being in need of special plans and laws to ameliorate their built-in permanent condition of disadvantage.” In fact, I suspect had they known their own government was about to do such a thing they would have come back and killed every Liberal or other politician that voted for such an affront to their heartfelt belief “that each person must be equal before and under the law and that there must be no special laws for anyone.” I do not know one single veteran that went overseas and put his life on the line to fight for Human Rights Tribunals that every working day break every single historic principle of law and justice that he or she had lived under from child to adulthood. Then too, they never heard of the cowardly “exit strategy” of today’s video game players. They signed up for the duration and victory, whenever that might be. I cannot think of any Canadian veteran of that era that would have believed if he were told that he would return to a Canada that would force him by law to learn both the French and English language fluently in order to fully participate in his own government, the civil service, the judiciary or the military. Imagine the fury of our veterans of today as they approach the end of their lives, seeing their children and grandchildren being excluded from participation in their own county’s leadership. I cannot conceive of any veteran that would have put his life and limbs on the line to defend a Canada that would think it is perfectly fine to have immigrants just arriving in Canada enjoy all he fought for only to have them sneer at our Eurocentric education and values, while our own fool socialistic liberal-left minions give in to this thankless lot and irreparably damage our children’s understanding of our own culture. Do Liberals understand just a little of these things their leaders have done to them and to this great country? These and many other horrendous changes are an affront to REAL Canadians, those who refuse to wear rings in their noses placed there by their Liberal, NDP and Red Tory masters. Why? Simply because we have not and never will accept these horrendous manipulations or forget that we are first and foremost free men and women – not cattle.

It is time to define real Canadians and cut the left-lib political nonsense

When the Liberal propaganda machinery persuaded Canadians that they were defined by their hockey, the beautiful mountains and scenery of Canada, multiculturalism, the French language and especially not being American, they were easily led into their comfortable nose-ringed existence. Especially when they were mesmerized by the much touted idea that Canadians were somehow superior in the better human attributes of kindness, compassion, politeness and warm and cuddly caring. Definitely we were not those brash, bragging and gun toting Americans. Unfortunately, the truth is that those beautiful mountains were here eons before humans existed. The French language divides us and angers us and increasingly so. Multiculturalism as practiced in Canada is finally being seen for what it is – a recipe for group and tribal angst if not outright warfare. Guns in the final analysis help defend our freedoms. Until we relearn who we really are, we will continue to be led by false prophets. Like it or not, the freedoms we once honoured in all parliamentary British Commonwealth and American countries stem from the same source – that weird and wonderful little group of islands known as Great Britain. The Liberals even found ways to prohibit the teaching of British history and with it the source of all the principles underlying our once free society thus destroying our underpinnings as a free people. They have continued to undermine all our historic English-speaking past.

Loosening the Nose Ring

If we citizens do not know and uphold the fundamental principles underlying all our freedoms, how can we know when our elected officials are putting harmful plans or laws in effect that will subvert the principles that define us as Canadians? We cannot and that is the crux of the matter. OK just what are these fundamental principles we must uphold. Here listed are the fundamental reasons millions of new citizens came here to breathe and grow in freedom. Here are the principles that Canadians have always been prepared to die for and have done so again and again to the world’s benefit. Canadians are defined by these principles even if we are not always conscious of them. We must learn again to hold them in our hearts. Our faith in these key Principles of freedom makes us who we are. We believe in: Freedom of Speech Freedom of the Press Freedom of Religion Freedom from arbitrary arrest or imprisonment and the Right of Habeas Corpus Freedom of peaceful assembly The Right to be tried by a Jury of our Peers The Right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law The Right to the security of our own home The Right to choose our own leaders by secret ballot at regular intervals The Right to own property and enjoy it free from interference or seizure by the State and should confiscation be required in the interest of the public good, then to be fairly compensated in accordance with the laws of the land. And above all The absolute Right to be the Equal of Every Other individual Citizen before and under the Law.

Defining the Problem

Our leaders and the majority of our Liberal-leftist media have trashed, ignored, or supported the destruction of every one of these principles, except when they want to use a particular principle for their own profit or benefit. The Red Tory Conservatives of the past were also complicit in overriding these principles. None are without blame. It all began when the Pearson /Trudeau Liberal governments took over in the middle 1960s. Most Canadians fell into the soft headed, if laudable desire to keep Quebec in Canada and were ready to sell their souls for that objective. The appeasement of Quebec still goes on today at full blast. Think of one major Act or social manipulative law that has not broken one or more of the fundamental principles underlying and defining English-speaking Canadians – all Canadians for that matter. Never mind Employment Equity laws of racial preference or the forced French bilingual laws such as the Official Languages Act, bad enough, but just think of the vile imposition of the Human Rights Commission’s Tribunal system that Canada and all ten provinces has been allowed to operate in our once-proud and free society. That fanatical introduction of no rules, no principles and the off-the-cuff law of virtual kangaroo courts, has destroyed and continues to wreak havoc on every single one of our fundamental principles. Who did this to us? Who else but the Liberals, the NDP, the Progressive Conservatives and their misdirected voters? Every one of these actors has been busily catering to the new minorities and their imported lack of comprehension of the fundamentals underlying our free English-speaking democracy. Catering to immigrant minorities has become a deadly corruption tearing into our very soul. To achieve any progress, even the present day Conservatives are forced to play the minority game. Who implemented our unforgivable policies allowing Quebec to blackmail Canadians into accepting the destruction of the very core of our identity in favour of today’s mélange of anti-English Canadian Quebecois bigotry? Again, it can only have been acceded to by every government, provincial an federal and they must acknowledge their complicity and rectify and repeal all offending Acts, laws and the failed Charter of Rights and Freedoms; itself an ongoing offense to every one of these principles.

Can the Nose Rings be removed?

The solution to the extraction of the nose ring is to demand that all our elected officials at all levels of government and the mass media tell all sides of this story, not their current hiding of contrary evidence and not the mean and narrow view of a gloriously disunited multicultural, bilingual, forced-French new elitist class of linguistic would-be dictators. We Canadians of all colours, races, original nationalities and native peoples have a part to play in Canada and the world. That part is to never forget that these values, the vital Principles of freedom that English-speakers have imparted to the world are always subject to corruption by those who deliberately desire to keep the that steel ring of slavery through our noses. Canadians must rise to the challenge and once again be proud and outspoken when we see these any of principles ignored or overridden for the falsely purported needs or desires of the moment.

What Can Canadians do?

Start learning or relearning our hundreds of years of legal history and understand how the many distortions that have occurred have happened. It is always the same. Crafty and power seeking people over time learn to live and profit by any circumstances no matter how damaging to our culture. Freedom is not in the hearts of all people and it cannot be realized or retained without the hard won Principles of our heritage being vigilantly upheld. So the next time a government, a newspaper or anyone promotes a new law or political view, make sure you feel for your nose ring and make sure it is not there by checking their promotions against the fundamental principles that underlie all our freedoms. The next time someone tries to tell you a Canadian is hard to define, tell them that Canadians are defined by what they believe in as a free people and these are the principles you share with all English-speaking nations and those that aspire to emulate our values. Be proud. Have courage and keep your nose free of the nose ring of slavery. We Canadians are the inheritors of the great principles underlie the very freedoms that most of the world is trying to emulate. The Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations contains these principles. Unfortunately the authors also wrote in a bunch of entitlements to social rights that run counter to the only principles that can guarantee freedom to human beings. We Canadians are members of a magnificent band of brothers and sisters throughout the English-speaking world who must once again be rightly proud of and understand our collective heritage by showing the world how people can live in freedom and peace with without cutting each others throats. Its OK to add hockey and lacrosse, a beautiful landmass and social graces to colour our Canadian persona but it is our “Principles” incorporated into our very souls that will ensure that no power mad government can lead us by a slave-like ring though our collective noses.
