Presentation of Obama’s insane budget as reasonable is a typical leftist tactic

The Lying Left

It should be painfully clear to conservatives by now that Obama cannot open his mouth without a torrent of lies pouring forth. His most recent, and some of his most egregious, were in his remarks about the administration’s proposed economy-wrecking budget. And surely by now, they know that TV “journalism” and our major newspapers are nothing but Democrat Party propaganda outlets. Combine the two, and you have a dangerous mix, unhealthy for dogs, children, and the future of liberty.

The presentation of Obama’s insane budget as reasonable is a typical leftist tactic: make uber extreme demands, based on lies and distortions, and then, while pretending to make huge compromises, settle for way more than they would get if the truth had been told, and the lies exposed. They have been doing this for years, and unfortunately, most Republicans fall for it every time. They fear that if they object or stand on principle, the media will say bad things about them. Hey, guys. Guess what? They are going to say bad things about you, no matter what you do. In addition, the people who believe the lies about you (and dang near everything else they lie about, too) are not going to vote for you anyway, much less send you money. But the lying is not confined just to Obama and the propaganda machine. We were just treated to the General James Clapper, head of our Defense Intelligence Agency, claiming that the Muslim Brotherhood is secular and non-violent. And who can forget Butch Napolitano, boss at Homeland Security, claiming that our border is secure. Tell that to the family of Brian Terry, the Border Patrol agent killed by illegal aliens, apparently armed with weapons indirectly supplied by the ATF. Where were the Republicans demanding the resignation of these two dangerously incompetent, lying fools? Another lie being perpetuated by the media, nowhere near as obvious, but deeply disturbing in its effect, is that the people in Washington are our “leaders”. Nothing could be farther from the truth. These people were elected by us, and derive their authority ONLY through the “consent of the governed”; they are “public servants”, put into office to act in the best interests of the citizens who elected them, and for no other reason. The notion that they are our leaders, directing us where to go, when to go there, and what we are allowed to do when we arrive is so far from the truth as to border on sedition. The next time you hear an elected official or appointee refer to himself or his colleagues as “leaders”, put him on your list of dangerous radicals who need to be removed from office as quickly as possible. Clearly, the worst offenders in this are Obama and his unindicted co-conspirators. They have publicly set themselves above the law, ignoring the courts, the voters, and the Constitution on a regular basis. And a recent poll shows a growing number of Americans, including a majority of Republicans, doubt that Obama was born in the United States, and is therefore, not legally the president, i.e., a usurper. Why the continued cover-up if he has nothing to hide?

Our economy is about to sink, drowning in red ink, and our self-proclaimed leaders are trying to bail out the ship-of-state using thimbles

We are a country in crisis. Our economy is about to sink, drowning in red ink, and our self-proclaimed leaders are trying to bail out the ship-of-state using thimbles. Instead of doing what the voters mandated in the last election, they are making symbolic gestures, not meaningful cuts to the budget and the deficit. The federal budget needs to be cut immediately by at least 10%, across the board, with much deeper cuts in a lot of areas. The entire government has become hugely top-heavy with excess management whose purpose is mostly to create new regulations requiring people to generate expensive to produce paper work. A third of present government employees and what they do could be eliminated, and life would immediately get better for millions of Americans. As Ronald Reagan said, “Government is not the answer to our problems. Government IS the problem.” He also said, “Its not that liberals are ignorant, but that so much of what they know is wrong,” but that, dearly beloved, is another story…
