The pain of ObamaCare gets worse

While the media are focused on the pope's historic visit to the USA, gotcha mania with Republican presidential candidates and he said/she said politics, the pain of ObamaCare on real people gets worse.

You will not hear about the pain from the administration or Democrats, nor will you hear about it from the mainstream media. But you will hear it from real people experiencing the real negative effects of ObamaCare, if you talk to them. Well! That's what I have been doing for months. Most recently, I asked my local pharmacist about what she had observed and heard from customers about prescription drug prices and coverage by insurance companies, and those on Medicare. First, nearly all of the insurance companies are covering less for the same prescription medications. Customers are also discovering at the point of purchase, to their surprise, that certain drugs are not even covered, since the insurance company did not tell them about it beforehand. Maybe it was in the fine print! Second, some customers have just given up and decided to buy what they can, because some deductibles are so high, just for medications, that they can't afford the coverage. Even worse, some insurance company plans are so bad that some doctors and pharmacists won't even use it when offered by the patient or customer. The reimbursement is not enough to even cover their costs. Third, these same trends and deficiencies are happening at doctor's offices and hospitals. I know because I do something on a regular basis that bureaucrats don't do. I ask! And they have been telling me these trends ever since the Unfordable Care Act was passed in 2010. We have seen reports of 20-to-40 percent increases in insurance premiums by many insurance companies, and prices are expected to increase again in 2016 at double-digit rates. The pain is a little less for people fortunate enough to be covered by company plans, because businesses have a little more negotiating leverage, and they try to minimize what they have to pass on to the employees. I know, because I am employed by such a company. And I also know that, eventually, they are going to have to pass more and more costs on to employees, because the pain of ObamaCare will continue to grow. Some Democrat presidential candidates say they can fix Obamacare with band aids (Hillary), while others want to replace it with another government-controlled system (Bernie Sanders). By contrast, all of the Republican presidential candidates want to repeal and replace Obamacare. Hip-hip hooray! In the meantime, we cannot let the pain of Obamacare fall from the attention of the media, which is what Democrats are expecting to happen to help them achieve a decades-long political objective. Namely, they want to control y'all from cradle to grave, and decide when you are ready for the grave. That's the pain of ObamaCare that most people don't see coming until they fill a prescription, go to a doctor, or have to be admitted to a hospital. Democrats don't care about your health care. Wake up, before the pain kills you!
