The Politics of Intolerance

Justin Trudeau is nothing if not the master of contradictions. He has repeatedly claimed he does not believe in the politics of division yet with his pro-choice (for abortion) edict he has re-opened the divisive issue of abortion and caused division even in his own party. He claims his "role is to stand up and defend all Canadians" yet he has disqualified over 60% of Canadians from joining the Liberal Party.

Polls consistently show the majority of Canadians are not happy that Canada remains one of the few nations with no legal restrictions on abortion. No pro-lifers welcome in our party says Mr. Trudeau. He claims to be catholic yet shows contempt for the Catholics strong opposition to abortion. He claims the Liberal Party of Canada is the "party of the charter" but displays an amazing misunderstanding of the spirit of the charter. It would not be a bad idea for Mr. Trudeau to check a dictionary for the the meaning of "liberal". He would discover that one of the meanings is "favorable to or respectful of individual rights and freedoms". Article 7 in the charter states that everyone has a right to life and Article 2 speaks of freedom of conscience and religion. If Mr. Trudeau insists on his divisive and intolerant strictly "pro-choice" policy he adopts the NDP position and I highly recommend he rename the Liberal Party of Canada "The Intolerant Party of Canada".
