The Third Option

The original theme of this report was to be: ‘Say Goodnight to the 31 House Democrats’, but then late on Saturday a most unusual event came to light--the third option. As the Democrats move forward with their imbecilic impeachment vote, which has now has been reduced to a national humiliation and laughingstock, many of us have obviously spent a minute or two looking into the numbers, more for fun, to ascertain how many fool-hearted-YES-votes would be needed to impeach President Trump. If, as an example, all 435 House Representatives vote (which would be nearly impossible) they would need 218 voting YES to impeach President Trump. There are 235 Democrats, one Independent, and 199 Republicans in the House. Staying within this unlikely number of voters, if all Democrats vote YES in unison, they would have 17 more potential YES votes than needed to impeach Trump. The actual Representatives voting will be, my guesstimate, closer to 400 around, if that many.

Only the most blinded followers believed a single word when Nancy Pelosi promised, “We’re not whipping this legislation, nor do we ever whip something like this. People have to come to their own conclusions.” Meanwhile, removal of eye teeth might be in order for voting NO against Madame Mao’s instructions. And, then there is (was), the 31 Democrats (below) from congressional districts which President Trump won in 2016. It had been the belief of many, that a vote by any of these Representatives NOT to impeach Trump would put a swift end to their political careers, as the DNC would primary them out and/or refuse to fund their reelection campaign. But then, in what appeared to be another Catch 22, should any of the 31 vote YES to impeach, the voters in those districts will in turn vote to remove them from office regardless of how much financial support they would receive from the DNC. The list of the 31 follows:

You will notice above that Jefferson Van Drew (D-NJ) is underlined because on Saturday afternoon, out-of-the-blue, where more correctly stated would be, out-of-the-‘red’-district, along came the third option. There are now multiple media sources reporting that, after a lengthy meeting with President Trump, Van Drew has decided to leave the Democratic Party due in part to what he believes was a totally fraudulent impeachment process. Pelosi and her entire caucus are in an all-out-panic-mode as the horrific political optics of one of their members changing parties at the time when unity for their impeachment objective is absolutely imperative. By the way, Jeff Van Drew is from New Jersey’s most southern 2nd Congressional District, the one in which my wife Pat and I now proudly live. And, yes, we plan to send our new Republican Representative, JVD, financial support, along with our vote come November. We can only pray that others from the above list will see the light and opt for the third, the only truthful way out. Come join us. You’ll be glad you did.
