One last plea, it is time to stop whining and step up to correct the things you can change in your little corner of the world. It all starts with one little thing you can do

The Wisdom to Know the Difference

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Since December 2020, when Judi and Brian at CFP saw fit to begin publishing the thoughts and observations of this old guy from Montana, I have hoped to make a bigger impact on the world. I see myself as primarily an educator presenting current observations of the foibles of mankind and our various goofy government efforts to destroy individual liberty and the Free World.

The problems in Canada, the United States, and the Free World have been plainly identified

I know from reader feedback that I have been successful touching many people. However I can’t seem to reach anyone but the choir. There is no doubt in my mind that the Free World is in a worse state today than it was when my first article was printed. There is also no doubt in my mind that both American and Canadian citizens have already had many of their God given and founding document rights trampled on by their governments with no visible repercussions.

The problems in Canada, the United States, and the Free World have been plainly identified. To continue to simply report on the latest outrages by government officials isn’t contributing to any sort of solution. Until We the People are prepared to pull the flush handle on the K-12 and college schools systems that are corrupting our children, the corrupt political institutions from the county to federal levels, and put criminals in jail, We the People are only fooling ourselves.

The collapse of civilization will continue until enough people are blasted out of their comfort zone

The collapse of civilization will continue until enough people are blasted out of their comfort zone by the outrageous behavior of their governments. Writing and talking about current events is like spitting into the wind; you only end up with spit all over your face.

How will we know when the citizens are ready to take necessary action? One indicator will be when people no longer line up 10 cars deep to buy $5.00 coffee and $7.00 lattes at kiosks all over America and Canada. Another indicator is when Americans are no longer able to afford spending $15.00 for a $2.00 hamburger meal.

God has, indeed, granted me the serenity to accept the things I now know I cannot change. I also believe God has granted me the courage to act toward changing the things I might be able to change, and I hope I now have acquired the wisdom to know the difference.

You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else

It is time for me to refocus on things in my church and local political organizations where I might be able to effect change at the grassroots level. In my mind, things will not change at the national level until we get rid of the Marxists and their twisted anti-liberty ideals at the local level. I believe that is God’s message to me.

The American Revolution took eight and a half years and was fought for and supported by a minority of the population. It is time for me to start doing rather than ranting about the things we all know are FUBAR (fouled up beyond all recognition).

“You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else.” ~ Winston Churchill

One last plea, it is time to stop whining and step up to correct the things you can change in your little corner of the world. It all starts with one little thing you can do. In the words of that great philosopher of The Force, Yoda: “Do or do not. There is no try!”

Steve Rossiter——

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.

In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
