Tim Kaine on abortion: For the Hyde Amendment, or a secret deal to repeal it?

You're probably aware that, since 1976, the Hyde Amendment has barred using tax dollars for abortion except in cases of rape, incest or saving the life of the mother. There's a good chance that you know Hillary wants it eliminated, because nothing would please her more than using forcibly confiscated cash to fund Margaret Sanger's despicable organization. Sanger of course is the racist eugenicist who founded Planned Parenthood. She's a hero of Hillary Clinton, who says she's "in awe" of Sanger. So, you may wonder what Hillary's VP, Tim Kaine, thinks about the abortion issue? It sounds like he wonders the very same thing. Kaine claims to be a devout Catholic, and he's on record saying he's personally against abortion - despite his voting record receiving a 100% approval rating from Planned Parenthood. In fact, as recently as this morning, he said he still supported the Hyde amendment:

That seems pretty concrete, right? He was for it, and he hasn't changed his position. Case closed. Except... That's going to come as a shock to the Clinton campaign, because they seem to be laboring under the notion that he's thrilled with Hillary's plan to repeal it. I guess, if you're a devout Catholic who believes abortion is murder and an afront to God, but you're also sporting a perfect rating from Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Rights Action League, a little campaign hypocrisy is a pretty small thing.
