Town Meetings Backfire on Liberal Plans to Force Socialized Health Care on America
Gospel of lies and untruths of Obama, Union Labor Thugs
At long last Democrat politicians are getting a taste of the same thing they have orchestrated for some time now with the benefit of using union labor thugs to disrupt any sort of gathering involving Republicans and anybody not preaching the gospel of lies and untruths of Obama.
The favorite toy of Democrats who wish to ram their anti-American messages down the throats of gullible and believe-anything naïve citizens who still have in their minds the Democrats of old who actually did tell the truth most of the time, is to hold “Town Meetings.”
‘Town Meeting’ sounds like homey and old-fashioned, come together gatherings, usually somewhere downtown so the pols can bring their messages to those trusting souls who eat it up like frosting on a cupcake.
But something has suddenly gone wrong; the folks aren’t buying into the lies and distortions that come out of the Dems’ mouths as they try to explain how the Obama Health Care Plan is going to actually work as opposed to what is written in the plan itself. Suddenly those gullible voters aren’t buying the whoppers the politicians are spewing at them.
Suddenly the voters have awakened and they’re talking back to those politicos who have been hood-winking them for years and are not “your father’s Democrats” anymore. They are aware that Obama is heading them straight towards socialism and Marxism, where the hard working people will have to give up much of the money they’ve earned to those who do no work and those who break our laws by crossing our borders illegally and then expect to get all sorts of free things that the Democrat politicians have promised them in return for their votes.
Those same politicians sound so pitiful crying that those nasty Republicans are orchestrating all this dissent. Masters as they are of the tactic of orchestrating dissent and mayhem, taught as they have been by corrupt labor union thugs and goons, they now don’t know how to handle their own party’s people who are revolting against the health care misinformation.
According to an AP and Fox News.com report on August 09, 2009, poor Democrat Iowa Senator Tom Harkin said after a “Town Meeting” had been interrupted in Des Moines by critics in the audience that there is a "nationally coordinated effort" to disrupt the town halls. One member of the audience gave this back to him: "How dare you claim that I'm part of a conspiracy," claiming he sent himself to the meeting.
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, Ky., told FOX News Sunday "… I think it's particularly absurd for the Democrats, who have over an $8 million e-mail list over at the DNC called “Organize America,” to be criticizing citizens for being organized."
Harkin was not the only Dem pol crying over tactics that his party has perfected over the years, that of packing meetings with loud and noisy dissidents, even though there was no proof of such an effort as all or most of the attendees seemed to be there just to ask questions; Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, D-Ill said on CNN's ‘State of the Union’, "This is clearly being orchestrated and these folks have instructions.” Although there was no hard evidence that those “folks” were anything but legitimate voters seeking information from their legislator.
The FoxNews.com report went on to state that “recent polls suggest everyday Americans are indeed losing confidence in the administration's health care agenda” as a reasonable explanation as to some of the hard questions posed to the politicians.
Rep. Joe Sestak, D-Pa., told FOX News that these town hall meetings are critical. He said lawmakers should not be backing down from them. "I like these town halls, and I cherish them actually," he said. "This bill is so important to the future that we should be having tough debates." Sestak said Democrats need to do a better job explaining the "goodness" of the legislation. My thoughts to Joe are: Where’s the “goodness” Joe, all I see is badness? But then, I’m a Conservative so I guess he’d say I was orchestrated.
The liberals in Congress have gotten complacent ever since they gained the advantage in numbers of votes in both the House and the Senate. This coupled with the assurance of the cooperation and approval of the President has meant that they can ram any sort of legislation across the board without much opposition and it has caused a bit of thin skin when the unwilling public calls them down; even those from within their own party who recognize socialism creeping into their lives.
So I say “Hats off” to the people for voicing their concerns to their elected legislators and if those voters are not satisfied with the politicians’ whining and placing of blame on everyone but themselves, show them how it feels to be unemployed, at the ballot box just next year.
