Trey Gowdy: There are huge gaps of 'months and months and months' in Hillary's emails

Eighteen Minutes. That was the length of the infamous "gap" in Richard Nixon's tapes. Yet the media spent decades obsessing over it. They hypothesized, theorized, wrote articles, and even made movies about the missing sub-20-minute span. Obviously, they were propelled by their never-ending pursuit of transparency and honest, decent, reporting. The truth simply had to be told.

So, how will they react to the fact that there are, as Trey Gowdy announced on Face the Nation, massive gaps in Hillary Clinton's email timeline? “There are gaps of months, and months, and months," Gowdy said. "And if you think to that iconic picture of her on a C-17 flying to Libya, she has sunglasses on and she has her handheld device in her hand - we have no emails from that day. In fact, we have no emails from that trip. So it strains credibility to believe that if you’re on your way to Libya to discuss Libyan policy, that there’s not a single document that’s been turned over to Congress. So there are huge gaps.” Here's the clip: If Gowdy was smart, he'd look in the usual Clinton hiding places. Namely, Vince Foster's briefcase or Hillary Clinton's White House closet. That's where "lost" Clinton paperwork usually turns up.
