Pentagon warns of 'active threats' inside US

As Iran and the United States remain entangled in a war, the Pentagon has asked US servicemembers to turn off location services on their phones. According to reports, there are "active threats" against military personnel inside the United States. A memo sent by the Department of Defence, obtained by cybersecurity and intelligence reporter David DiMolfetta, warns, "Turn off your location on all electronic devices… There are active threats against the US military in the continental US."

The Pentagon has not detailed the threat, but said there is credible intelligence of danger. "All US service members turn off your location on all electronic devices. Specifics cannot be detailed but are from credible sources. There are active threats against the US military in CONUS," it read.
