Twisted roots of identity politics and its influence on the Constitution

Twisted roots of identity politics and its influence on the Constitution Should anyone think that setting up a state where achieving equality is paramount, they are seriously misguided. China's institutionalizing social standards to which all must aspire is not a new concept nor is it a step forward in improving the human experience. It's a rehashing of old control issues for despots who now have technology to assist their implementing a fully empowered state, which means a completely cowed populace. "No," say the idealistic millennials. "That can't possibly be. It's for the people's good and freedom of expression, where everyone has what they need.... for free!"

China's social credit system

What China's Xi Jin Ping has done is set in motion another feudal system based on behavior modification that is the ultimate result of identity politics. Communism pushed to the "enth" degree. To what is this referring? Something the Chinese are calling a social credit system. No longer will people be rated on just their purchasing habits, but the system includes everything from social media posts and alcohol consumption to the character of your best buds, and don't forget the outlawry of religious associations. Even so, too many will fall in line and tout the wonders of a reward-based social system where you can up your "credit" rating to receive bonus points in travel, consumer goods or other niceties. Punishment, don't forget, is the other side of the scale. While the average American (I hope) would be incensed at this kind of merit system to keep citizens in line, there are too many who believe that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. A look at history might change their minds. We could go as far back as Rome to pull up instances of receiving rewards for supporting the party in power (Nero, for instance), especially when suppressing the independent thinker (like a Christian) with violent reactive punishment, say.... crucifixion. To make it simple, we'll only travel back in time 90 years or so to uncover the strategy behind MeToo, LGBTQ, BLM, Antifa, islamists, ad infinitum. The rise of Nazism grew out of the identity politics that also occurred in Rome's social order and what's happening in China.

Identity politics is based on divisiveness

"Identity politics?" some will ask. "How so?" Identity politics is based on divisiveness which set the well-connected, and thus rewarded, party member above not only non-party members but a contrived lesser "race" of humanity, which, in the case of the Nazis were; Political prisoners, Jews, homosexuals, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Catholic priests, Communists, Romani. Designating a group of people as inferior is the oldest trick in the book that another group will use to elevate their own self-image. It occurred in ancient and not-so-ancient Chinese society and it was rampant in the concocted Aryan superiority complex that Nazis used to entrench themselves in power. [Sidebar to this is the complete fantasy of a white European Aryan people. True Aryans originated in South India, used the Sanskrit alphabet, have very dark skin and were classified as Caucasian when the whole race business was conceived and assigned on assumed geographic origins.] However one cares to view it, identity politics has always been at the bottom of superiority complexes, or more pointedly, the alleviation of inferiority complexes. In other parts of the world as well as the U.S., the lack of positive self-image has generated a movement to subordinate anyone who has a different view of life, tagging those outliers as intolerant or haters for, frankly, accepting (by ignoring) the so-called minorities' proclivities. And that makes the minorities that much more irate for not receiving the attention they think is their due By creating social identities within the larger national/cultural identity the power base among the citizenry is split, ushering in the basis for the old adage "divided we fall." And division is what it's all about; a set-up for government-backed bullying, otherwise known as democracy, which in the real world is "mobocracy" that equals Nazism/fascism/socialism/communism.

Dividing a citizenry into competing factions is a prototype to wrest power here in the United States The rise of the Nazi identity based on bogus history and pseudoscience about master races led to enslaving more than one political and cultural group as outcasts and undesirables. Underlying the implementation of oppressive legislation that overrode the constitution was the corrupt purpose of stealing the shunneds' wealth to cement party power. History does repeat itself as within about a century's span preceding the Nazis' ascension was the French Revolution and the Bolshevik Revolution that utilized similar divisive tactics; both atheistic origins from which neither country has fully recovered. Nor has Germany, for that matter. This same pattern of dividing a citizenry into competing factions is a prototype to wrest power here in the United States where social competition isn't necessary or culturally beneficial. Ours is the one country where the founding documents guarantee every person equal rights despite the fact that the past few generations have been browbeaten to accept the lie that legislation is necessary to "level the playing field." It's not. Equal advantage was written into these documents. Identity politics has only subverted the Constitution to the point where re-educated (read "brainwashed") public school graduates--dropouts, too--believe they need special recognition by society, deserving more than other people, because they've been convinced they're victims. It's the opposite. Supposed victims, the politically identified minorities, have maneuvered themselves into bird-dog seats of yelling, screeching intimidation to strip non-clique members of their earned wealth and even their faith. Why? Because the victims feel threatened by anyone comfortable with their socially centralized identity. Ironically, the special classes of "victims" then victimize those who run their lives more closely related to social norms. It's a lashing out by people beset with classic fears of inferiority, climbing up on the back of those who represent success in order to tear them down. None of which is constructive, nor is it meant to be. What's lost in this scenario of lazy victims hounding non-oppressors? Hmmm, if the whiners have their way, the Constitution will be rewritten to institute hierarchies instead of every individual having equal access to opportunity. Something identity politicians don't comprehend or, rather, ignore.

It would indulge the self-indulgent, giving them power over the majority that think for themselves and don't feel it a necessity to band together in lawless packs. Promulgating this mob mentality over conscientious individualism has already infiltrated the schools. In one Atlanta charter school they've dropped the all-inclusive Pledge of Allegiance in favor of a wolf pack chant that distances students from the equality instituted under our founding documents. Do they not know that wolf packs are run by alphas that subjugate the rest? (That's rhetorical. Of course they know and promote the concept because feudalism, i.e. Nazism and communism, operate the same way.) The kind of wrongheaded, public school indoctrinated opinion some writers pen, like this anti-Constitution piece that appeared in the NY Times six weeks ago, exemplifies the ignore-ance of these last generations regarding the genius of the document they trash as an "outdated relic." These are the fools who would dissolve this nation into a mire of democratic socialism that serves everyone poorly, instituting poverty for all except the few self-satisfied supremacists that feed on creating victims of every political identity group they can muster. It is also exactly why a convention of states or another constitutional convention is absolutely out of the question. Because communist know-it-alls have already infiltrated the ranks of the individualists who support the founding documents, calling themselves everything from libertarians to independents and conservatives and but they are progressives. They would undermine the process and dissolve the Constitution as it exists to limit government, destroying its protection of every citizen's God-given rights. We already have the solutions if only we would apply them rather than allowing ourselves to be bogged down by invented factions. This is a nation of free individuals, not blocs of petty victims. Act like it.
