Two large explosions were reported at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, 2:45 p.m., EST today according to Daily Mail online.

The Daily Mail was first to report on the extent of the injuries from the two explosions. Further Information is scarce at this point. Live feeds and still shots show a scene of bloody carnage. “Eyewitnesses at the scene said there was a loud explosion and emergency vehicles crowded the scene.” (Daily Mail, April 15, 2013). Some news outlets are reporting that there were two explosions, one only seconds of the other. Police officers rushed to the scene as smoke billowed.
