Obamanation is a study in contrasts. First, the President -in-Training gives a not-so-welcome audience to UK PM Gordon Brown (not to mention some really cool DVD’s), and then spends a full 40 minutes playing hipster to Jay Leno and his audience.
Apparently after what David Letterman did to (the now disgraced) Gov. Blagojevich, it’s safe to say Mr. Obama probably won’t be flying to New York to face crazy Dave.
Not only is Obama continuing to act as though he's campaigning for 2012, but he has started to make the gaffes of “W” seem almost Shakespearian in comparison. I mean Special Olympics Bowling? What were you thinking, Mr. President? Oh, sorry, you obviously weren’t! But hey, it’s not easy keeping up with a Vice President who has both of his feet in his mouth.
You’re outraged and stunned over the AIG bonuses, or is that “shizzled” that your administration was caught. By the way, will you return the $100,000.00 plus ‘contribution sent your campaign by AIG? And it was very encouraging to hear about your book deals. Half a million advance before taking office isn’t a bad deal Mr. President, added to the 2.5 million raked in last year. Do you have to pay a substantial part of that to the ones who actually wrote the book? Just make sure that when you evoke empathy for America’s poor and downtrodden you add the part where anyone, even a black guy in this great country, can rise to the greatest office in the land. Just be sure to mention that some Marxists and Islamic sympathizers helped pay a poor boy’s Harvard tuition.
As our fearless leader extended a Coke and a smile to Iran and offered a new beginning, the defiant nation of emerging nuclear instability spit in America’s face, noting that the West has become weak and irrelevant. Little did the majority of voters know that HOPE and CHANGE were really code words for SMOKE and MIRRORS.
Recently former president Jimmy Carter dropped into the White House to say hello to Mr. Obama. Rumor has it that he wanted to thank the BHO for relieving him of the title “Worst President of the United States”.
Okay, so I have been a bit hard on the prez. It’s only been a couple of months leading the free world. The question in my mind is this: How much longer at this rate will America be part of the FREE WORLD?
