Uh-oh. 'None of the above' wins Democrat nomination for Nevada Governor

Yesterday's Nevada Democratic gubernatorial primary boasted no less than eight candidates. All of them fought tooth and nail to secure the most votes at the ballot box ....and all of them failed. How is that possible?
It's possible because a ninth option - "none of these candidates" - managed to grab the brass ring. From Fox News:
Many Nevada Democrats turned up their noses Tuesday at the eight candidates battling for the right to face Gov. Brian Sandoval in November, with the "none of these candidates" option receiving the most votes.

With 80 percent of precincts reporting early Wednesday, the "none of these candidates option" had received over 20,000 votes (30 percent), putting it over 3,600 votes ahead of the man who will face Sandoval in November, former State Economic Development commissioner Robert Goodman. Goodman received 25 percent of the vote.
Yes, despite suffering an embarrassing defeat at the hands of, well, "nobody," Nevada state law says that the second place finisher, Robert Goodman, will be on the ballot in November. In the fall, he'll try to topple the sitting Governor, Republican Brian Sandoval, who will no doubt be handing out bumper stickers that say something to the effect of...
"Even Democrats think NOBODY is better than Robert Goodman!"
Goodman will be able to retaliate with a clever slogan like....
"Nobody does better than Robert Goodman!"
Sandoval is Nevada's first Latino Governor, and he crushed his four primary challengers by receiving 90% of the vote. This suggests that somehow, those racist, anti-Hispanic conservatives managed to put aside their hatred when they pulled the lever. Good for them! Sandoval is expected to cruise to an easy win in the general election.
