Israel, not the Muslim Brotherhood, is “the main stumbling block,” he said. Along with Fox News, of course. I’m guessing, therefore, that Soros was cheered by the speech delivered last Friday in Cairo by the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual inspiration, Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, whom had returned to Egypt from exile for the occasion. Al-Qaradawi thrilled a million adoring people with his call for an open, democratic society in Egypt – music to Soros’ ears. Also, just like George Soros, al-Qaradawi sees Israel as the main stumbling block to peace. So he asked the Egyptian army to pray for the re-conquest of Jerusalem by the Muslims. Al-Qaradawi was evidently holding back his true feelings in his Cairo speech. After all, this is the very same Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader whom has lauded Islam and sharia law as the only valid system for governing mankind. He despises the very idea of a secular democracy. And he is the same Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader whom had once called the Holocaust a divine punishment of Jews “for their corruption” and prayed for the opportunity to kill Jews himself before his death:

The only thing that I hope for is that as my life approaches its end, Allah will give me an opportunity to go to the land of Jihad and resistance, even if in a wheelchair.
