Two days after the horrific 9/11 attack Lloyd Marcus penned the song, "United We Stand"

UNITED WE STAND, Remembering-Never Forgetting 9.11

Excerpt from the United We Stand album/cd: "Amid our nation's shock & horrific images on TV, there were numerous examples of heroism and the resilient optimism of the American Spirit. President George W. Bush, despite the chastisement of his advisers, risked personal harm by coming to ground zero in New York. He climbed up a wall with a fireman.

The fireman started to climb down, but President Bush asked him to stay. With his hand on the fireman's shoulder, using a bull horn, President Bush vowed to make those responsible for the attack pay for their evil deed. It was an incredibly powerful moment. President Bush's off the cuff heartfelt comments drove home the point to all Americans, that in order to defeat the evil which threatened our nation and even our way of life; we MUST stand together, united. United We Stand debuted before an audience of 20,000 in Tampa FL at a rally honoring our troops hosted by national radio talk show host, Glenn Beck. It had the excited audience screaming for more. Other performances of this song, such as a Washington DC rally hosted by national radio talk show host G. Gordon Liddy and a rally for and attended by President George W. Bush, reaped the same uniting and overwhelming response" Click Here for video: UNITED WE STAND by Lloyd Marcus. video produced by long time friend Cao of Caosblog.com.imageimageimage
