University Caves To Whining Snowflakes Continues Disturbing Trend Of Erasing History

Well, it's happened again. A name change brought about by the two things that currently dominate our society. Whining, crybaby, woke, leftists, that # and complain like four-year-olds until they get their way and authority figures that are so weak and intimidated that they won’t say “No” even when they’re in the right to do so.

If it isn’t flags, it’s statues. If it isn’t pro football team nick names, it’s stadium names, and of course let’s not forget college team names and mascots. What’s so frustrating, no infuriating, about these things that are either removed, torn down, or changed, is that if these snivelling wimps would only listen to the truth about them, in the overall majority of cases, nothing would be changed.

George Washington University. A group of uninformed, unthinking, malcontents, decided that the college nickname, The Colonials and their mascot George Washington, are symbols of systemic oppression

A great case in point is what’s taking place at George Washington University. A group of uninformed, unthinking, malcontents, decided that the college nickname, The Colonials and their mascot George Washington, are symbols of systemic oppression.

Never mind the fact that the thirteen original colonies paved the way for our nation to exist, let’s just change things to demonstrate our highhanded blend of ignorance and intolerance. The school chose the nickname all the way back in 1926 and did so in order to honor those original colonialists.

I’m sure what’s tripping up these nimrods are the three words that in their simple minds are too difficult to differentiate. The thirteen original settlements are referred to as colonies, and the people that lived there are referred to as colonialists, but those settlers were not practicing “colonialism.” In fact, they represent the exact opposite. They spilled their blood and died fighting for their right to live under an independent government and to end colonialism in America.

It's sadly typical of the times we live in. Self-righteous punks choose something to protest, something that most of them don’t have the slightest knowledge of. They do it not for the true betterment of anything, but simply because they can.

You have to ask yourself, what have these spoiled, entitled brats ever accomplished that gives them the right to denigrate our great forefathers and the women who built this nation? The answer is Nothing.

Yet a university, named for the first president of our country, doesn’t have the wherewithal to firmly say no to a bunch of shrieking misfits

Yet a university, named for the first president of our country, doesn’t have the wherewithal to firmly say no to a bunch of shrieking misfits. Instead, they cave and allow a name just under 100 years old to be changed. These clowns have no credibility and they certainly have no authority, yet they use audaciously bad behavior to erase history.

Then to make a bad situation worse, the university releases a statement placating their abysmal behavior by feigning excitement over the change. University president Mark Wrighton, vomited out this phony epitaph:

“This is an exciting day for the George Washington University Revolutionaries. I am very grateful for the active engagement of our community throughout the development of the new moniker. This process was truly driven by our students, faculty, staff and alumni, and the result is a moniker that broadly reflects our community and our distinguished and distinguishable GW spirit.”

Revolutionaries huh? No virtue signalling by the student body there, right?

George Washington was a leader, a statesman and a true believer in America. Everything that the administration at his college namesake is not.
