US Rejects Rome's Wisdom: Treating Citizenship Like Feces is Suicide

Rome's Mythic Prehistory: An oddly touching foundation story of Romulus & Remus is both clearly a fable, yet deeply satisfying. It's a lesson in how a nation builds upon an immortal tale to create a positive myth. The American Founding is well-known and highly inspiring, and yet utterly rejected by Democrats. Now, for the Roman creation story

Romulus & Remus were twins of royal and divine origin, abandoned as babies, put into a basket dropped in the River Tiber. They ran aground and were discovered by a female wolf, who nursed them briefly before found by a shepherd, who raised them. When they became adults, they founded a city where the wolf originally discovered them. Quarreling over where the site was, Remus was killed by his brother, leaving Romulus sole founder of his new city, Rome.

Rome's Romulus & Remus Instruct World How to Build Society Value

Remus Murdered: Most important is why Remus was killed. Romulus was laying out the city walls when Remus taunted him by leaping over the foundation, but then was struck down. The lesson: When Remus vaulted the wall, he disrespected the city. So, Remus chose wilderness over civilization, barbarism over peace. This important lesson was taught to every Roman. So, order and law are a choice made by humans to reject chaos, which always brings death.

Founder's Glory Now Shamed: And yet, today in America, our own beautiful Founder's story isn't simply rejected, but abandoned while on life support.  So how could anyone defend truths they've never heard? And so the incredible tale of a small nation's battle against the world's greatest empire, then the improbable winning the war for freedom, is not judged to be worth mentioning to America's children. Why?!!

Ancient Citizenship was extraordinarily powerful in the classical world. Consider Roman citizenship:

Roman citizens generally could vote and had rights and responsibilities under a "well administered system of criminal and civil law." Men of both the upper and lower classes could be citizens. Women were citizens but couldn't vote or hold office and had few rights. Slaves were not allowed to be citizens. During the Roman Republic government officials were elected by Roman citizens. During the Roman Empire many local government officials were elected by Roman citizens but not the Emperor and high level officials. There were different kinds of citizens, each with their own collection of rights and responsibilities.

Even Saint Paul used citizenship to his advantage (Acts 25-6-12):

Festus went down to Caesarea. The next day he convened the court and ordered that Paul be brought before him. 7 When Paul came in, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood around him. They brought many serious charges against him, but they could not prove them. Then Paul made his defense: "I have done nothing wrong against the Jewish law or against the temple or against Caesar." Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, said to Paul, "Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me there on these charges?" Paul answered: "I am now standing before Caesar's court, where I ought to be tried. I have not done any wrong to the Jews, as you yourself know very well.  If, however, I am guilty of doing anything deserving death, I do not refuse to die. But if the charges brought against me by these Jews are not true, no one has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar!" After Festus had conferred with his council, he declared: "You have appealed to Caesar. To Caesar you will go!"

America might get 30 million new Americans

30 Million Illegals? On the current pace of illegal border entries, adding in the Title 42 cancellation, America might get 30 million new Americans. These novel entrants will have paid none of the costs of past legal immigrants, but are rewarded with cash, free healthcare, gratis housing and planned instant citizenship. And without a demand for passing a test based upon our laws, government and history, and larded with free wealth, how can these "new Americans" possibly appreciate the incredible opportunity of beautiful US citizenship?

Passive Aggressive Elder Attack: Every decision by Biden seems to have been specially designed to increasingly hobble, diminish, and destroy America. For example, despite the fact gasoline prices are the highest in history and continue to climb, the Biden admin scuttled the last few sales of federal petroleum leases. See Biden admin cancels massive oil and gas lease sale amid record-high gas prices. Madness!

Pompous Bamboozlers: The elite liberals whom Biden claims his peers all look down on normal Americans. 'Peering' into the future they claim humans need pure socialism for survival, as echoed in countless Global Warming apocalyptic warnings. Eric Voegelin describes these as self-anointed Gnostic prophets repping a pagan religion that brooks no opposition.

Made for Destruction: The elite's wildly destructive policies are themselves the single greatest danger to life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in American history. The condescending disinterest radiated by these egotists means Conservatives are treated like natives lectured by a visiting archeologist to an undiscovered Borneo tribe being educated on the germ theory.

Antidote to Tyranny: Yet the answer to all this is citizenship earned by folks who learn the constitution which is dictated by a populace already inculcated on our story of the triumph of the Rule of Law over tyranny. So why do we allow Biden to give away US Citizenship like Halloween candy?

Quenching a 5-Alarm Fire: But what do Democrats plan to do when Joe Biden, whose language skills are already non-functional, can no longer mime any more words? And with the parchment complexion of an aged zombie, what happens next when he no longer answers the bell? Let's pray for a miracle, friends. But in the meantime, get involved with your local political party, as we need all hands ready to extinguish the 5-alarm fire raging all around us.
