The Intercept recently published a story titled “Under Cover of Mass D e a t h, Andrew Cuomo Calls in the Billionaires to Build a High-Tech Dystopia.” The story outlines new government programs being created during the new corona-virus pandemic that include new forms of surveillance and new forms of technology for online schooling; and it captures a growing concern shown across the United States that expanding government powers may last beyond the current crisis.
