AJAX, ON, - Volkswagen Canada celebrates its 60th anniversary this year and is pleased to report June sales of 5,500 cars and light trucks. This was the company's best-ever result for the month, and betters the previous mark; set just last year, by 10%. June sales of the Jetta totaled 2,381, with year-to-date figures numbering 12,385. The Passat accounted for 702 sales for the month, and total 3,929 for the year. The full Volkswagen lineup includes a variety of sedans, hatchbacks and stylish coupes, such as the Beetle and CC. The Touareg and Tiguan sport utilities add another level of versatility to the mix.
