Vote now! Pick-a-Tax-Plan USA is the start of restoring economic growth

It's time to get behind a solution and make it happen. With the launch of the new HermanCain.com, it's time to launch something else too. I always tell you that it's essential to focus on the right problem and bring about a solution, and just about every problem this country faces can be traced to insufficient economic growth.

If economic growth is the problem, it's clear that the solution is to replace the tax code. Not reform it. It can't be reformed. We need to replace it with an entirely new tax code. Most conservatives agree on this, but we suffer from a lack of unity because not every conservative agrees on which alternative tax plan is best. There are a lot of ideas out there, but for the most part the greatest support is for three ideas:

1. The Flat Tax
2. The FairTax
3. 9-9-9

Of course you know 9-9-9 is my plan, and in the past I have been a supporter of the FairTax as well. I also think there is much to recommend the Flat Tax. But this is never going to happen if conservatives are not unified behind one of the three. We don't have time to waste fighting amongst ourselves about these various plans. So we are giving you the opportunity to vote on which plan conservatives should support. All you have to do is go to Pick-a-Tax-Plan USA, choose a plan and vote. It's that simple. This will run through November 5, and at that point we will announce which plan received the most support - and I will be the first to get behind it and encourage others to do the same. We must do this because economic growth is the problem, and replacing the tax code is the solution. You have your preference among these three and so do I, but we can all agree that every one of them is vastly superior to what we have now, and that should be good enough for all of us to unite behind whichever one receives the most support. The priority here is not "what can pass." It's what solves the problem. If the people are behind a solution, believe me, it can pass. Vote now! It's the start of solving the problem.
