Was The Mental Madness Of Transgender Ideology The Basis For Charlie Kirk’s Murder?

Wednesday at 12:24 pm, Charles James Kirk was murdered on a college campus in Utah. Charlie was a debater, not a hater. He represented everything good and decent about America. He was not a Christian in word only; Charlie lived a life filled with love and optimism. He was married to his wife, Erika, and had two children, aged three and one.

If you have ever attended one of his Turning Point stops or watched one of his hundreds of on-campus videos, it’s evident that, although determined, Charlie was a gentleman. Not one time did I ever see him raise his voice; that wasn’t his style.

The Left’s non-stop hateful rhetoric instigates this type of violence. That and the Democrats' refusal to stop returning violent criminals to the streets places all of us in danger. However, Democrats and the radical left have now created another dangerous subculture within the transgender community.

Just two weeks ago, I wrote a column titled “Dems Scream Gun Control While Condoning Mental Illness.” I wrote the article the day after another mentally ill man, who thought he was a female, Robert Westman, opened fire at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minnesota. Firing through the stained-glass windows at children who were praying, Westman killed two children, ages 8 and 10, and wounded another 17. According to the Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara, fourteen of the 17 injured were children ages 6 to 15, and three of the injured victims are adults in their 80s.

One thing no one can disagree with, but the left refuses to discuss, is that if someone commits a mass shooting or targets someone because they simply disagree with their opinions, they are suffering from some mental illness or delusion. Those are the facts, and they are indisputable.

So, why then do Democrats and the radical left condone, enable, and promote transgenderism?

I have consistently written that transgenderism is a serious delusion that needs to be treated, never condoned, and certainly never encouraged. Yet the radical left refuses to see that truth. In the imaginary world of the left, everything should be accepted, even when it’s not socially or morally acceptable, and even though they know that it’s dangerous for the person suffering from the denial of reality and possibly for those around them.

Anyone who suffers from a mental illness has the potential to be explosively dangerous. Which means those who believe they are something they are not and never will be certainly fit that bill. Why Democrats refuse to accept that truism and seek help for these people instead of winding them up and releasing them onto society is inexcusable.

Early Thursday, Steven Crowder, the “Louder with Crowder” podcast host, posted on X what appears to be an internal memo from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms describing a rifle and unspent cartridges found near the site where the shooter was positioned.

The memo states:

“The suspect fired one shot from an elevated position on a rooftop in an adjacent building on the campus, and surveillance video shows the suspect jumping off and fleeing the area on foot. ATF and other law enforcement located an older model imported Mauser .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle wrapped in a towel in a wooded area near the campus. The location of the firearm appears to match the suspect's route of travel. The spent cartridge was still chambered in addition to three unspent rounds at the top fed magazine. All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology. An emergency trace has been submitted, and ATF SLC is working on leads generated by the trace. The firearm and ammunition have been taken by the FBI for DNA analysis and fingerprint impressions. Upon completion of forensics, the firearm will be disassembled for additional importer information. Multiple people of interest have been contacted or detained because of eyewitness testimony and review of video footage. The primary suspect is yet to be identified. ATF is assisting the investigation with multiple other federal, state, and local partners, and the case is co-led by the FBI and Utah SBI."

If the memo is authentic, and more and more information seems to indicate it is, this is another instance of transgender violence, and it needs to be the last. The left must leave the delusional world they are living in and return to the reality of Earth.

Charlie, you were one of a kind, and you were taken from us much too soon. Among many things, you left behind a blueprint of how we all should live our lives.
