For years, Sheriff David Clarke has been one of the main voices sounding the alarm about the media's insipid efforts to portray American police officers as a bunch of murdering racists. He has, on multiple occasions, warned that the horrific violence we've seen in the last few weeks would be the inevitable outcome of the left's war on cops.
Now that it's come to pass, you can see the pain in Sheriff David Clarke's face. There's no self-satisfaction in his voice when he says "I told you so," just sorrow and anger. I’ve been watching this for two years. I predicted this. This anti-police rhetoric sweeping the country has turned out some hateful things inside of people that are now playing themselves out on the American police officer.Lemon was completely unprepared for the Sheriff's blistering verbal assault. Back on his heels, he urges his guest to "calm down." ...It doesn't go well:
