We are being hijacked again

As we worked through the confusion of that day we realized how vulnerable we were and took quick action to ground all flights. We then began a top priority mission to prevent this from happening again.  We beefed up security at all airports, requiring strong identification that matched outbound flights. We made lists of known terrorists to ensure they wouldn’t be able to fly and secured the cockpits of all planes.
Wikipedia has listed just five attempted airplane hijackings by organized groups since that time with no success. In many cases, the perpetrators were subdued on the plane with the help of civilian passengers. But the most famous case of passengers standing up and thwarting a terrorist hijacking was on 9/11 itself with Flight 93. When the passengers learned what was happening in Washington they stormed the cockpit and crashed the plane, sacrificing their lives for our country.  As we look at the current state of our nation it seems like we’ve suffered a series of different types of hijackings and most of us don’t even realize we’re under attack.   Our schools have been hijacked by liberals taking over the education of our children.  Environmental policy has been hijacked using a two-inch fish to destroy our water supply in the west and squashing farming and business growth nationwide with endless bureaucratic regulations on land and water use.  “Global warming” has been used as an excuse to hijack our entire oil and gas industry and make us hostage to the whims of the Biden administration with doubled gas prices and rampant inflation while enriching our enemies across the globe.  Our scientific establishment has been hijacked by colleges and their wealthy donors. Whether it is environment or global warming, scientific studies have been falsified to generate the desired results and conflicting findings have been quashed.

Gender has been hijacked by people claiming that boys can be boys on Monday, but girls on Tuesday, and as such, are entitled to participate in sports on whichever side they wish.  The COVID crisis hijacked our medical establishment and health policies to require masks and injections and deny proven early treatments, while news media and social media hijacked freedom of speech and suppressed medical information that would have saved millions of lives.  Our very culture has been hijacked by “wokeness,” and political correctness.  Corporate America has been hijacked by ESG where social scores have taken over sound business decisions.  Our criminal justice system has been hijacked by prosecutors elected with millions of dollars from George Soros to let thousands of hardened criminals free to commit endless crimes and ruin our cities.  Our immigration system has been hijacked by the current administration in the White House ignoring all laws and enabling millions of illegals to flood into our country with zero supervision. The toll with crime, disease, sex trafficking, and gangs, along with drugs killing hundreds of thousands of our citizens, is almost unfathomable.

The hijacking of America is no more prevalent than in the formerly great state of California. We’ve all heard the saying, “as goes California so goes the nation.” California, as one of the most beautiful and prosperous states in America, led us all in forward-thinking ideas for environmental policy, social reforms, and media and entertainment.  In a few decades of Democrat rule, California, once rich, now has the most poverty, and the highest taxes, housing costs and cost of living in the country. Their gas and energy prices are out of control. Crime is rampant with open drug use, unprosecuted assaults and theft. Businesses are closing and citizens who can afford to are leaving the state in droves.   California was the first “sanctuary state” and illegal aliens are not prosecuted and are granted more rights and privileges than legal citizens.  California schools are abysmal, indoctrinating their children with nonsensical liberal dogma and expensive colleges turning out graduates who can’t hold a job.  Wildfires are rampant, based on environmental policies that make no sense.  California has just announced their ban on all gasoline cars to take full effect in 2035 because of “the climate crisis.” This is despite the fact that their power grid can’t begin to handle the load with just 13% of their cars being electric today. A recent heat wave caused public officials to beg residents to stop charging their cars during peak hours until their remaining natural gas power plants could catch up to demand.

But a recent report by “over 1,100 objective, truth-seeking scientists and professionals from over 35 countries” concludes that “there is no climate change emergency, human-caused or otherwise” and there is no need for “green energy” policies that do away with fossil fuels or require electric vehicles.   California’s most insidious hijacking has been the ongoing effort to take over our entire election process using the excuse of “making voting easier for minorities” and “fighting voter suppression.” They have led the way in undermining all controls over honest and fair elections and if not stopped, the rest of the country will follow. They passed laws to allow same day voting, ballot harvesting, automatic “motor voter” registration, and eliminated proof of identity at every stage of the registration/voting process.  As a result, the congressional makeup of California went from 26% in 2016 to 13% in 2018, while Democrats represented 44% of the voters, Independents were 26% and Republicans were 25%. Republican congressional representatives went from fourteen in 2016 to seven in 2018.  The Election Integrity Project of California has been working to expose and prevent electoral practices that disenfranchise valid voters and allow opportunities for voting fraud.  In a recent article, they summarized California’s problems with inaccurate voting roles, and the possibilities for rampant fraud and abuse…  California has 1.8 million ineligible voter registrants on their rolls.

Thousands of voters receive more than one ballot, or ballots of people they do not know or know of, or ballots of people who have moved or are long-deceased.  Countless numbers of non-citizens receive ballots even though they have never knowingly registered to vote.  On-demand, permanent vote by mail ballots may be mailed to any address of the voter’s choosing.  “As goes California, so goes the nation.” As her first act in 2021, Nancy Pelosi introduced H.R. 1, the “For the People Act of 2021.” It took all of the flaws of California’s voting system and attempted to apply it across the entire country, despite the fact that the Constitution puts matters relating to voting and elections squarely in the hands of state legislatures.  We are all passengers on a Ship of State that is being hijacked. Just as we responded to 9/11, we need to understand what is going on and strengthen our defenses so this won’t happen again.  The upcoming election on November 8 will determine the makeup of the U.S. House and Senate, in addition to state legislatures and elected officials across the country.
