Progressives have also defied the Founding Fathers by embracing, rather than eradicating tyranny

What Would Founding Fathers Think of “Blanket Amnesty”?

As America approaches the 234th birthday of our great nation, we the people have an obligation to reflect, with great thanksgiving, on the heroic words and deeds of those great men who bequeathed to future generations of Americans the formula for independence and effective self-governance.

Because of the wisdom and brilliance of our Founding Fathers, America is supposed to operate in accordance with the Rule of Law, whereby the relationship between three branches of government and between government and the people are codified in the U.S. Constitution. Thanks to our Founding Fathers, we are a civilized, sophisticated people who believe that adherence to the Rule of Law is essential in preserving our democratic way of life and in assuring our freedom from tyranny and oppression. Unfortunately, there are those among us who regard the U.S. Constitution as an outdated, irrelevant bit of buffoonery that needs to be rewritten to adjust to social norms of the day such as abortion, gay marriage, affirmative action, spreading the wealth thievery, taxation without representation, and other “progressive” idiocy. Such people regard the Founding Fathers as a gaggle of wealthy, racist, white, probably straight Christian males, none of whom had a clue about gay love, the right to an abortion as promised in the Constitution, or the most important government priority of all—the incessant pummeling of white males. Progressives have also defied the Founding Fathers by embracing, rather than eradicating tyranny, especially when it comes to ramming the unpopular progressive agenda down the throats of the American people. How might the Founding Fathers regard a duly-elected President of the United States who is reportedly considering the use of an Executive Order that would, in effect, grant blanket amnesty to upwards of 20 million aliens who have ignored our borders and immigration laws and who now reside, unlawfully, within our borders? An Executive Order that would circumvent the will of the people AND of the U.S. Congress where such an amnesty scheme has been attempted but failed on several occasions? An Executive Order that would grant citizenship to tens of millions of penniless, unskilled, non-English speaking invaders who cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars a year, and whose loyalties and allegiances remain with their nations of origin such as Mexico? An Executive Order that would reward tens of millions of aliens who refuse to stand in line like other millions throughout the world clamoring for a life in America? Faced with such facts, the Founding Fathers would no doubt conclude that America had been through another revolution where freedom and independence were supplanted by fascism and tyranny. And they would be exactly right! Happy Independence Day??????
