Battle for the soul of America is found on the Medicare front where the costs of the ads is unknown but the results represent another nail in America's coffin. What's the actual cost? Indentured servitude comes to mind

What's the cost, Mistah Speakah, what's the actual cost?

We are being bombarded like never before with the need to boost Medicare to insure that the US Government, meaning every taxpayer, is seen across every known element of the electronic media.

When I think of bombardment, I think of rows of battleships and cruisers blasting the Normandy coast. My old man's ship, LST-308, was landing Canadian troops at Juno Beach on June 6 1944, while HMS Ramillies was firing broadside after broadside at German pillboxes and trenches in the Courseulles and the Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer areas of the Normandy coast.

My father in his run to the beach, heard those familiar overhead freight trains from the ship's 15 inch (381mm) naval rifles hurling 1,920 pound shells inland, eight at a time. The old man said they were going over continuously. Somewhere, crouching in their casemates, were 7,761 German soldiers of the 716th Infantry Division which was backed up by the 20,000 Panzergrenadiers in the elite 12th SS Panzer division "Hitlerjugend".

Today, the American populace is under a similar unheard of bombardment, only the 330 million Americans, compared to the 30,000 German soldiers around Juno Beach, and those untold millions of illegal interlopers are being blasted and bombarded today by the US Federal Government, courtesy of the slavish far left media and even during and between shows on Youtube where I rely on Artur Rehi's superb broadcast on the Russo-Ukrainian War.

This bombardment, unlike those at Normandy and Iwo Jima, is ongoing for months and designed to get the 65 million in Medicare to jump on this bandwagon, during every commercial break, where these seemingly low-budget, high-pressure ads urge Americans over 65 to check their options and make sure they’re getting all the benefits to which they’re "entitled". The AEP period is the only time many people on Medicare have the option to make these coverage changes.

Think about this, somewhere around 650,000 of these mind-numbing ads were run between October 1 and December 7, 2022, according to KFF. It has got to be worse this year, gotta be. This falls into that highly disturbing "brain washing" realm, Sure'n Begorrah!

Wow, but what is reason for this unheralded bombardment?

Look at those folks in the ads, they are all upper middle class.

Why?

Because the federal government, riven as it is throughout by Democrats, leftists and communist fellow travellers, is hard at work getting more middle and upper middle class folks on the government's growing numbers of teats--where one is reserved for each of us.

We are under prolonged attack and everyone who fails to recognize this is a rube, ripe for the picking.

What is the first thing that any layabout, when they leave the dank confines of their parent's basement and are queried about the job search, says? "But ma, I'll lose my SSI! I daren't work, I'll lose my entitlement," which is rich of course since they've never paid a single tax except for a whiskey or a doobie tax. Why would a slug dependent on that $550/month from Uncle Sap ever throw themselves into the hurly burly of the increasingly technical requirements of today's high stress marketplace where even the applications of lowly receptionists are frowned upon when their tattoos sully their necklines?

The once powerful pride which sent Americans to the job market because work equalled self worth has been eroded by generations of Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein and their shameless ilk. Today the layabout hears the ravings of AOC and similar stooges who inhabit the halls of Congress where lengthy interruptions by Pro-Palestinian rioters are met with a shrug while federally goaded working folk are jailed.

In World War I, the Germans were shocked at the toughness of US Marines and soldiers because they had worked hard throughout their lives, punching cows, laying RR tracks and in the steel mills--all without the "dole." Today, the growing concern in our military is having soldiers wear women's shoes while using the proper pronouns--all thanks to the same softies, leftists and fellow travelers in the US Congress.

Today, the battle for the soul of America is found on the Medicare front where the costs of the ads is unknown but the results represent another nail in America's coffin.

What's the actual cost, Mistah Speakah, of all these endless ads? Indentured servitude comes to mind.
