When the Enemy of the State is Its Government

"A Patriot is someone who stands for his country always, and for his government when it is deserved." ~ Mark Twain

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." ~ Mark Twain

In

North America the enemies of the State of Canada and the State of the United State of America are their respective governments. Both of these governments are violating their respective founding documents, and for all intents and purposes, are lawless and no longer representing the wishes of their people. Both governments have, for all practical purposes, become tyrannical police states. The leaders of both countries are doing everything in their power to dissolve their nation’s founding documents and turn over sovereignty to the foreign controlled New World Order and the United Nations.

As Ray DiLorenzo pointed out on his article, Beware the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum, many of the political and economic movers and shakers of both Canada and the United States are trained acolytes of Klaus Schwab and the Marxist globalists of the World Economic Forum (WEF). Justin Trudeau, Gavin Newsom, Emmanuel Macron, Nikki Haley, Tony Blair, Pete Buttigieg, Angela Merkel, and Vlad Zelensky are just a few of the highly visible world politicians. Then there are Bill Gates, Chelsea Clinton, Jeff Bezos, Larry Fink, Peter Thiel, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jonathan Soros (son of George Soros) from the world’s business and financial community. Corporate board rooms all over the world are filled with thousands of WEF trained acolytes. Is there any wonder why Canada, America, and the world are in trouble?

The first line of defense should be our federal government employees and law enforcement. They would be in America if they were fully committed to the oath they took when they became federal employees.

“I, ___, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God. ~ U.S. Government oath of office

There is not much room for misinterpretation of a federal employee’s first legal duty. They have committed themselves against all enemies including domestic enemies. Are American federal employees honoring this commitment? It would seem not, or there would be thousands and thousands of government whistle blowers. No, they are just following orders. That is the same excuse used by German bureaucrats to justify the atrocities committed in World War II by the Nazis. That excuse doesn’t fly any better in 2023 than it did in 1945.

Sadly, the oath of office for employees of the government of Canada is not terribly specific and leaves a lot of wiggle room. Where We the People of the United States can hold our federal employee’s feet to the fire regarding the oath, I’d say that would be more difficult for the voters in Canada.

“I, ____, do solemnly and sincerely swear that I will truly and faithfully and to the best of my skill and knowledge execute and perform the duties that devolve upon me as a including the duty not to disclose or make known, without due authority in that behalf, any matter that comes to my knowledge by reason of my holding that office. So help me God.” ~ Canada government oath of office

The second line of defense for citizens has historically been the voting booth and grass roots efforts to change our government at election time. Unfortunately, since the advent of electronic voting and tabulation machines, too many people are being selected by the globalist cabal rather than voters.

In accordance with the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment, the third line of defense was a free press to hold government accountable. The main stream media is a co-conspirator with the Marxist government, so that too has failed American citizens.

To summarize so far, the first line of defense for We the People of Canada and the United States, is no defense at all. The second line of defense has also been corrupted by complicit government employees, so once again is no longer a defense at all. The third line of defense is worse than being no defense; it is the complicit mouth piece for the corrupt government.

What are we to do when our own governments are our enemies? What are we to do when all legal avenues to correct bad government have been exhausted? These words of John Kennedy come to mind.

"A revolution is coming – a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough – but a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character; we cannot alter its inevitability." ~ John F. Kennedy

Are we wise enough? Are we compassionate enough?

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." ~ John F. Kennedy
"Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom." ~ John F. Kennedy
"Make sure you are doing what God wants you to do--then do it with all your strength." ~ George Washington

George Washington and the Founding Fathers knew they were doing what God wanted them to do, and they did it with all their strength. What will you do?

Know God, know liberty. No God, know slavery.

Steve Rossiter——

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.

In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
