When We Take it Back—Then What?

The “HOPE” is long gone from the Obama administration. Actually, HOPE was never really there. But the “CHANGE” is an ongoing battle.

CHANGE that is remaking America into an apologetic, third rate nation. CHANGE that is putting generations into debt, transforming a foreign policy that has kept America safe and strong since its foundation, and is rapidly trying to tear down any last vestige of our Christian heritage. The opposition to the theatrics in DC has been loud and large. And it’s getting bigger all the time. So we now have the clarion call to TAKE BACK AMERICA! But we’ve been here before. We took it back when Ronald Reagan was president. Then we got secure and let it slip away. It was ever so closely recaptured with ‘W’. Then, with the assistance of the MSM, Acorn, and a Republican base that had become like extras in the film ZOMBIELAND, it was lost to the most liberal, radical, socialistic, unprepared, and pompous (not to mention legally suspect) politician to ever rise to the office of the presidency. The political pendulum will swing back eventually but not before an incredible amount of damage has been heaped upon the machinations of Washington. The real question remains: What will we do when we take it back? Will we restore common sense to the system? Will traditional American values ever be a viable part of our political process? Will new definitions of marriage be so entrenched that constitutionally it will be impossible to redefine the sacred institution as it was intended by God? If conservative politics does regain some clout will it be a true hedge of protection against the onslaught of evil-- or will it simply move more and more to the center and left of center? Will once stalwart constitutionalists will have such open minds that their brains will fall out? Where is the line in the sand? Why do we allow it to keep moving? If TAKE BACK AMERICA is the battle cry-- what is the battle plan? Take it back-- how far? How deep? How close to the true intentions of the Constitution? We can TAKE BACK AMERICA. But we better know how to take it back to its roots. If we can’t undo the damage--some of which we ourselves have caused--then we will slide further into decay. We have already become like the Israel described at the end of the book of Judges: In those days Israel had no King, and everyone did what was right in their own eyes! We’re there now. We have allowed the people to elect a King. The parallel between ancient Israel present day America is chilling. We can either learn from history or repeat it.
