By the way Sheriff Dupnik while you are busy trashing some of the people of your state of Arizona as right wing extremists, you might just take the time to explain just where your people were when a left wing nut shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

That’s the key question you need to answer but won’t be asked by the subversive left wing media. When she was shot by Jared Lee Loughner, Rep. Giffords was surrounded by a small mob which didn’t include a single one of your deputies. Not one. A member of Congress who had already been a victim of violence when her office door was smashed in was left unprotected when she was surrounded by a small crowd which included strangers. The shooter was a disturbed young man described by a classmate as a “22-year-old as a pot-smoking, political radical” she met in high school who always was a bit of an outcast according to the PhoenixNew Times Given your belief that Arizona is populated by a lot of extremists such as Loughner, why didn’t you assign a couple of deputies to protect her when she was surrounded by a small knot of strangers? It took unarmed civilians including a woman he had already shot to disarm and capture Loughner. There wasn’t a single deputy at her side when her assailant stepped up to her and fired point blank at her skull.

This was your moment in the limelight

This was your moment in the limelight. Your chose to use it to inject your liberal Democratic brand of liberalism into the dialogue instead of explaining how a known left wing nut was allowed to get within point blank range of a member of Congress. It was not the former governor of Alaska, nor former Nevada senatorial candidate Sharon Angle who shot Rep. Gifffords – yet you see fit to attack them when you have utterly failed to do the job of protecting a public official when she was appearing in public within your jurisdiction. No wonder you chose to attack the people of your State by injecting politics into the matter instead of explaining why you failed to provide protection to a public official already targeted by threats of violence. It would seem that your vaunted 50 years of service in the Law enforcement community you haven’t learned to keep your liberal political opinions separate from your duties as a county sheriff. Too bad!
