White Supremacy Myth in Light of the War of ValuesAs Americans celebrated Constitution Day, or didn’t acknowledge it, the ignorance of the Constitution should be a loud alarm bell resounding throughout the nation in 2019. The ignoring it, or the clueless disconnect from it will yield the same outcome. On the threshold of an election year, citizens may want to seriously consider the value they place in the foundations laid in the past, as foundations for America’s future. The New York Times is busily spinning deception via their 1619 Project, in hopes that it will perpetuate new spin on the old myth. Citizens who care about a future built upon the foundational documents may want to determine how much they are willing to tolerate deception and distortion of truth. In light of the words of the Declaration of Independence, the United States is once again going through a period of judgment, and many cannot recognize it. Words mean a lot. And, the fact that words are used to confuse and manipulate people from the family to the world level is extremely significant. The fact that word choice is used to shape the public political debate and the political paradigms that frame public perception is extremely significant. The fact that there is an ideological war being waged in America and throughout the world is extremely significant. But, America is quite self-insulated against such a war at present.

The campaign of Bernie Sanders says a great deal about the current “leadership” of elitist Democrats

Unfortunately, the political landscape has dramatically shifted in America over the past two national elections. One day, Americans may awaken and experience the Rip Van Winkle effect -- only in reverse. They may wake up to the absence of free elections, or elections that are a shell of reality. Perhaps elections may show up in the future as a “reality” show on television, in some sham of electoral drama. One day, Americans may awaken and realize that what the political parties have created is an oligarchy to run the nation with economic and political elitists masterminding the drama. In the future, Americans may awaken to the reality that they don’t truly elect a president, the president is chosen for them, by an autocracy rules the day. The Democrat National Committee stomping upon the campaign of Bernie Sanders says a great deal about the current “leadership” of elitist Democrats. Yet, the “Never Trump” realm of the GOP says a great deal about the current elitism of the Republicans. People are awakening to this. And, the cry for socialism, from the Left-swaying Democrats has awakened many more -- young people excluded, for they were not instructed properly on the values of the Founding Fathers. And, in several instances, at academic institutions across the nation, young people were deliberately misled about the ideals, principles, and values of our Founding generation. The academics who advance deliberate disinformation should be held accountable in the public trust. Deliberate distortion of our Founder’s ideals and values in some cases was intended to confuse and divide American citizens--especially the young people. To many younger people, socialism has to do with social issues, and not economic theft or redistribution of the hard-earned “wealth” of the average citizen. And, when social consciousness, now framed as “socialism,” does touch on the fringe of economic well being, it tells young people that to be wealthy is evil, or anti-human. It can be, as demonstrated by wealthy, self-centered elitists who want to maintain control of the GOP. Young people have not formed a proper critical opinion of “socialism” because they have not been provided a complete picture of socialism. Yet it is the latest “flavor of the new election cycle.”

Sanders popularized the ideals, principles, and values of Marxism-Leninism-Socialism-Communism

This phenomenon came out of the Bernie Sanders - Hillary Clinton debacle in which Bernie was burned at the stake by the DNC, whether he knew it would be a manipulated “election” or not. Either way, he lost. Yet, he popularized the ideals, principles, and values of Marxism-Leninism-Socialism-Communism. One may wonder whether the real “Russian collusion” in the 2016 election originated in the Sanders’ campaign. Good old “uncle Joe Stalin” would be proud of Bernie’s propaganda. Fidel Castro may be dancing in the underworld based upon how Bernie has transformed his “Burn” into a fire for the socialist agenda that could fundamentally transform the United States. During the 2016 campaign, Bernie Sanders made a serious statement, and with it, he set the tone and some of the political platitudes for the Democrat Socialists and the old guard Democrats as well. Around the time of Constitution Day on September 17, 2015, Sanders boldly stated that the nation was founded on racist principles. He claimed these views were actually fact before an audience at Liberty University. In the same vein of thought, less than a month later, Blake Simons, then a leader of “Black Lives Matter,” issued a serious threat to the nation regarding the Constitution of the United States. Simons, a product of the University of California-Berkeley, at the time, the deputy communications director of the Afrikan Black Coalition, posted an article titled “A New Constitution or the Bullet.” Simons stated that “the Constitution is the root of virtually all our problems in America.” Echoing Bernie Sanders, and other socialist professors who are sprinkled liberally throughout the education system, Simons specifically revealed this political perspective:
I have come to realize that the Constitution is the root of virtually all our problems in America. In order to understand the injustices against Black folks in United States, we must look back to its foundation. The U.S. is a country that was founded on slavery, genocide, rape, and white male patriarchy. The colonizers that we condemn for enslaving Afikans and murdering indigenous peoples are the same people that produced and upheld the document we use to govern our nation to this day. Our bloodshed is rooted in this nation’s founding document, The Constitution. A body cannot be separated from its head and remain living. The Constitution and all the evil that it allows to be perpetuated are the head of White America, or more so corrupt America. Racist America. If you separate the head then racism will die. This is why it must be a new constitution or the bullet.

Surprisingly, the core of what Simons shares is an old mantra from the Democrats mixed in with the new mantra of Black-oriented socialism. Although most Americans would not recognize it as such, it is the same type of political propaganda that Democrats had been feeding gullible people since before the Civil War! Abraham Lincoln had to deal with this twisted view that the founding of the U.S. was based on racist principles in the Lincoln - Douglas debates! While campaigning against Stephen A. Douglas in the race for the Senate seat in Illinois in 1858, Lincoln countered a similar contention from Douglas. At some point during the seven debates, Sen. Douglas appealed to his audience to accept the premise that the Founding Fathers were just a bunch of old white guys who were creating a nation primarily for whites. The statement revealed sentiment existing with the Democrats that actually defended their institutionalized racist society. It may not have surprised Lincoln that Douglas maintained such a view, as it had been perpetuated by Democrats since the creation of their Party. Lincoln, however, easily dispelled the myth that Douglas wanted to perpetuate. Lincoln cleverly asked Douglas why the founders had outlawed slavery in the Northwest Territory through the Northwest Ordinance if they were unconcerned about black people. Over 160 years ago, the Democrats used similar arguments that they are using in this time. They used political tools like Douglas to perpetuate the myth. Today, this same Party has repackaged the old myth for useful idiots who do not understand their own history, and perpetuate the myth via new political tools. Currently, anyone seeking the “Democratic” Party support to run for POTUS would bring this “issue” before the public for the 2020 election. The real irony is that the original argument was to defend their “peculiar institution” of slavery; yet, now they seek to use it to condemn slavery. It is quite ingenius, but with an element of insanity mixed in. Today, young people like Blake Simons are alive and well and living in the U.S.A. Yet he, like many, represents more than folks concerned with the plight of minority Americans. A year after the 2016 election, Simons wrote:

The nation is again divided between those who believe in the ideals of our founders, and those intent on destroying those ideals through deceit and manipulation

Capitalism in America is an economic system that is rooted in the genocide of indigenous peoples and the enslavement of Afrikans. Thus, the country’s wealth was created at the expense of enslaved Afrikans who built this country for the white elite ruling class. Capitalism is inherently racialized, and it is most harmful to working-class Black people. If it espouses Marxism, smells of Marxism, and uses the threat of the “bullet,” like militant Marxism, Simons is a Marxist. This represents the blending of perspectives in the war on American values raging in America right now--a war over the values upon which America’s future will rely. There are those today who ignore an ages-long struggle for freedom in this land and upon foreign soil, where common men and women died to make others free. To trample on their memory. and to perpetuate deceit in investing in lies for personal gain, or utilizing lies for political power is disgusting and repulsive. Where are the people who sincerely seek the truth about this nation’s history and struggle for all people throughout the world? The nation is again divided between those who believe in the ideals of our founders, and those intent on destroying those ideals through deceit and manipulation, like young Blake Simons. But, citizens should not blame young people. Many Americans have no clue what the Northwest Ordinance is, or what it accomplished in U.S. history. Again, it is indicative of a poor education system and the insidious way U.S. history, or government, is taught across the country. It is not merely skimming the surface of events that shaped the nation, but also current teaching includes a socialist-slanted agenda. Vladimir Lenin would be proud of teachers like Bernie Sanders. Blake Simons probably believes what he states because it represents the extent of what he was taught, or he drank the same type of “Kool-Aid” that other history- challenged American young people have been served by their socialist professors. Even many older Americans are confused and divided on the fallacious charges of Democrat-Socialists. Socialism is incompatible with the American values, principles, and ideals at the core of our founding documents. This battle is for America’s soul, and concerned Americans can unite and move past petty divisiveness. Americans must choose once again what truths they hold dear, they must move past complacency and revitalize the core principles that led to the creation of the Republic.
