"if Trump forces Mexico to pay for the wall about to be built between US and Mexico, Enrique Nieto will go down as the most despised president in Mexican history"

Who Is A Pundit Anyway?

How does one get to be labeled a pundit? How much expertise is required? The dictionary describes pundit as "an expert in a particular subject or field who is frequently called on to give opinions about it to the public."
Occasionally I submit an article for publication in Canada Free Press but don't consider myself to be a pundit in the accepted sense of the word. The editor of the site doesn't solicit my contributions. But before I hit the send button, I do perform what I believe to be a reasonable amount of homework, in addition to my On a prominent TV news station this morning, a real pundit (he must be one because he was asked to opine) stated that "if Trump forces Mexico to pay for the wall about to be built between US and Mexico, Enrique Nieto will go down as the most despised president in Mexican history." Assuming the pundit is correct in his opinion, if I were Nieto I would be developing an exit strategy right now. I say that because I have done a historical tour of Mexico and visited the four cities where former presidents were hung and their bodies displayed on pike poles. Do you think the pundit may have exaggerated his thesis just a little bit? Further, I don't recall Canadians seeking to hang former PM Stephen Harper when Obama forced Canadians to pay for the $multi-billion Gordie Howe International Bridge between Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan, including the cost of a toll plaza to be built on the US side. I assume Canadians determined the bridge was in their best interest and politely (as Canadians are known to behave) coughed up the cash.
