If Americans knew the truth, articles of impeachment would be warranted.

Who is fighting the battles?

As someone who spent a year in Southern Afghanistan, outside the wire of our Forward Operating Base frequently, I am asking the media on the ground in Libya to show the men who are actually fighting the battles. Showing “freedom fighters” walking down the street in t-shirts with only their weapon and the one magazine in the weapon, you are not going to convince the hundreds of thousands of American service men and women that these guys are rebels that are actually fighting battles. It is so obviously staged by the media that it is an insult to anyone who has watched a John Wayne movie that these “rebels” never fired a shot that wasn’t in the air or at a mystical mirage in the distance. Obviously, NATO ground troops including either U.S. Special Forces or CIA operators are fighting the battles.
The loss of these brave men will remain classified and their death attributed to a “training accident” or other benign event and their actions classified for years or never declassified. While their identity should be concealed, trying to convince us that “freedom fighters” are responsible for unseating a dictator from power in this unconstitutional war that has cost U.S. tax payers over $1 billion dollars and likely American lives is that ultimate of con jobs that the media is complicit in with our administration. The administration and their “ministry of propaganda” know that if Americans knew the truth, that the administration has had boots on the ground from the beginning of this unconstitutional war, that articles of impeachment would be warranted. Unfortunately, Congress, some of which have worn the uniform of our Nation, don’t seem to have the passion to honor their oath to protect our Constitution and are now actively hiding from public dialog with constituents when they return to their districts.

In my opinion, there is no conceivable way that anyone that has fought a simulated battle would conclude these “rebels” have fought anything except traffic circles. The “media” that is accompanying them and showing their “advance” should be held accountable and relegated to writing fictional children’s books or filming ghostbuster movies. Their reporting is an insult to our intelligence and to the brave operators that are actually fighting this illegal war. Doc Hicks Former Medic in Kandahar in '06-'07
