WTF, City Council Opens With A Prayer To Satan

Translation: Anyone can speak because their feelings matter more than the people they attack with cynicism and wild delusions.

It’s no secret that Christians, Christian beliefs, Western culture, and American culture are all under attack, in addition to rampant antisemitism. Radical Muslims have made no secret of the fact that their end goal is to eliminate Christianity, initiate (the political movement) of Islam (It is not a religion), and institute Sharia Law.

The evil of a group of people who stand in the street and at pulpits openly saying “death to America” while taking full advantage of all of the benefits this country affords them is disgusting.

Their invasion, orchestrated by those on the left under the guise of inclusion, undermines American societal rules. The left and mainstream media turn a blind eye to all forms of radicalism, and the radical left's acceptance of virtually everything—regardless of how delusional—without any limits has allowed all forms of wrongdoing to run rampant for far too long.

A perfect case in point took place in Ottumwa, Iowa, where a city council meeting was opened with most of those present standing while a former councilman said a prayer to Satan.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Iowa is still in the United States, even though armpits like Ottumwa exist.

Matt Dalbey, a resident and former council member, gave the invocation at City Hall. The video of the meeting showed him asking those who wanted to participate to stand, then began with, “Let us pray. Dear dark father.”

The prayer urged everyone present to stand “unbowed” against “arcane doctrines born from fearful minds.” For them to “embrace the Luciferian impulse to eat from the tree of knowledge” and to judge individuals based on their actions instead of “arbitrary social norms.” The idiot then ended with, “It is done. Hail Satan.”

Then the scene got even stranger when, after the bizarre Satanic prayer, the council and those present recited the “Pledge of Allegiance.”

Dalbey then proved that Satanists are gutless, telling the Ottumwa Courier in a private message that the text is used by the Satanic Temple of Iowa, of which he is a member, and that it “has nothing to do with the belief in a satanic deity.”

The Ottumwa Courier said the group describes itself as “resolutely non-theistic.”

Right, but the “Let us pray. Dear dark father” at the beginning of the prayer and the “It is done. Hail Satan” lets all air out your lie. You’re not fooling anyone.

Rick Bick, the pastor of New Life Center, spoke next, urging the council to take action to reverse the damage caused by Dalbey's prayer.

“Let’s just reverse this curse that was put on our city. That ‘Hail Satan’ is not welcome here.”

Another leftist suck-up, Council member Cara Galloway, told Bick the public-comment period was the place for that. So, a Satanic prayer is fine, but protest of the prayer needs a special time period to be heard.

Bick wasn’t having any of it. “It needs to be done now. That was a curse put on the city. Most of you know that, and we need to just stop and reverse it.”

Over Galloway’s objections, Mayor Benjamin Foote went into CYA mode and called for 30 seconds of silence “to reflect on whatever it is we need to reflect on.”

“To reflect on whatever it is we need to reflect on?”

What a sickening statement to make.
