YouTube Adds Abortion Disclaimer To Catholic, Pro-Life Videos

In a recent move by YouTube, abortion disclaimers have been added to many videos published by Catholic or pro-life organizations. YouTube claims abortion is a topic susceptible to misinformation and many videos about Catholic teachings on abortion, abortion alternatives, or Pope Francis now include links to information which may counter the message of the video. “It biases viewers against their messaging, to prejudge and dismiss their arguments before they’ve even heard them. Rather than allowing for free speech and debate in today’s modern public square, YouTube is preferring one side and position over the other by adding these disclaimers. And attempting to prejudice viewers against the pro-life position.”
