Allah ≠ God, Jerusalem terror proves

Tuesday, November 18, 2014 witnessed another murderous incident in an escalation of a holy war being waged by Muslims in Jerusalem. A synagogue in West Jerusalem was apparently independently targeted by two East Jerusalem men, killing four rabbis holding dual American and British citizenship and one police officer. Brandishing guns and meat cleavers, the terrorists reportedly were reacting to rumors that Israeli Jews are attempting to destroy Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem and were responsible for a bus driver's death that was conclusively ruled a suicide. Each of the rumors are unfounded, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling them "blood libel" against Jews spread with only one purpose: to incite violence.
Hostility has surged over the past months stemming from before the kidnapping of three Jewish teenagers that sparked Hamas' summer offensive against Israel. Terrorist attacks perpetrated by individuals and small groups, supposedly unaffiliated with established terror organizations, have increased exponentially. The reason? Aside from the blood libel rumor mill, two excuses are being bandied about by leaders in the Muslim communities. One pretext is the fact that new homes are being built in the East Jerusalem sector that will house Jewish residents. Self-described Palestinians claim that Jewish neighbors are an unacceptable addition to what they consider an exclusively Arab neighborhood. So much for peaceful co-existence as far as local Muslims are concerned, and shame on observers such as the British and Spanish Parliaments casting votes to recognize a Palestinian state, in effect supporting ongoing terror activity. No better is President Obama who basically condoned the heinous massacre by reproaching Israel to bear some of the blame... "it is all the more important for Israeli and Palestinian leaders and ordinary citizens to work cooperatively together to lower tensions, reject violence, and seek a path forward towards peace." By pressing Israel to make concessions to enemies bent on their slaughter Obama essentially equated Israel, which vehemently condemns terrorism, with the Palestinians that vigorously celebrate murder. The second excuse is another Muslim exclusive--directing how prayer is offered on the Temple Mount, also known as Haram al-Sharif. Since the 1967 war when Israel reappropriated East Jerusalem, reuniting Israel's historic capital, regional Muslims have denied acknowledgment of the site's ancient heritage or any right of use to Jews. In this, the Israeli government has graciously yielded to Muslim religious leaders by regulating the age of Jewish visitors and restricting them from praying while visiting the site of Solomon's Temple, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World in antiquity.

Allah, which Islam worships, is not the same entity as God whom Jews and Christians worship

This last reasoning is evidence demonstrating that Allah, which Islam worships, is not the same entity as God whom Jews and Christians worship. The proof is found in the actions and beliefs of the Muslim faithful themselves. Jews visiting the Temple Mount, upon which now stands the Al Aqsa mosque, are prohibited from praying. Most reasonable people would wonder if the one Islam calls Allah is actually another name for the one true God, why then would Muslims be offended at others praying to the Almighty? Is it because Jews don't worship in the same fashion as Muslims at specific times in an assigned pose upon a prayer rug? One can assume that lack of ascribed ritual may be part of the rationale applied to those Islam refers to as infidels, but it's a shallow explanation, at best. All knowing, all-powerful and ever-present God doesn't restrict prayer to ceremony or ritual performed during services at places of worship. Neither Jews nor Christians are barred from worshipping God whenever and wherever they happen to be, nor do they impede others from prayer. Whether it is in a temple or church, an open field, on a street corner or in a closet, He blesses those who faithfully offer up prayer. If Muslim clerics cannot tolerate prayer, ostensibly to the one true God, to be made by anyone other than an adherent of Islam while in the proximity of their holy sites, it seems that they must be praying to some other god that is jealous of God. Were Allah actually another name for God, then all prayers honoring God would be welcomed by Allah.

God calls for evangelism by sharing His love; Islamic scripture exhorts believers in Allah to inflict pain, suffering and death to infidels

It is evident that the arrogant pride of Islam is embedded in its declared intent to destroy anything that doesn't follow Quranic dogma, including how, and apparently to whom, prayer is offered. Those Christians who have a tendency to be forgiving of other religions ought to reevaluate the concept that basic values are universal because there is but one God for all mankind. If Allah refuses prayer as blasphemous from those who worship God the Creator, then that god simply is not the same entity as God. When the Bible plainly states that there is nothing to be added or subtracted from His Holy Word that applies to any additional holy book, including Mohammed's teachings. To those who would attempt to equate historic strife amongst Christian denominations with the brutality exhibited by Muslims against other and fellow religionists, the difference is this: infighting of Christians has been wholly political in its cause. The battles have been instigated by man's rules imposed on other believers, creating a power struggle for political control. There is no Scriptural basis for believers to kill other believers to enforce ritual worship. Christ gave the commandment to love one's neighbor as himself, including unbelievers. Even in Jesus' words that there would come division among family members, He was not inciting violence but encouraging unwavering faith in the face of mockers.1 Oppositely, Quranic scripture calls for killing or punishing unbelievers if they will not convert and bow to Allah. God calls for evangelism by sharing His love; Islamic scripture exhorts believers in Allah to inflict pain, suffering and death to infidels, which is sometimes applied to fellow Muslims belonging to a rival sect. There is but one God and were He also known as Allah, those followers of Allah would tolerate prayer from all who worship God believing the two are the same. If God is love (1John 4:8 "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.") then allah is not God. 1 Luke 12:51-53
