Honorable People of Iceland: To the good people of Iceland, I offer our sincere appreciation for choosing righteousness over hate and the growing Islamic totalitarianism, and for voting against the Palestinian proposal to boycott Israel. I confirmed the low-key news announcement with a call to your Washington Embassy on the morning of September 30.

Iceland’s Meltdown

The city council of Reykjavik, Iceland, has fallen under the spell of a small, but toxic, Muslim population. Because of the customary Islamic narrative against Israel, the capital's outgoing councilwoman, Bjork Vilhelmsdottir, declared a boycott against all Israeli products, citing oppression of Palestinians and the "wall"; she is also planning a mission to "help Palestinians." Further, Iceland's interior minister, Ogmundur Jonasson, led an anti-Israel protest complete with "blood-soaked" Israeli flags and accusations that Israel is committing a holocaust against the Palestinian people.

The Narrowness of the C-Span

C-Span’s mission for the past 35 years has allegedly been to make government more open to the American public, providing 8,000 hours of programming to 100 million American homes. While C-Span is committed to carrying Congressional proceedings in their entirety, sans editing, and claims no filtering to distort viewpoints, it abandons these lofty ideals of impartiality, honesty, and fair-mindedness on other occasions.

A Question of Patriotism

The more we Americans began hearing about the possible nuclear pact with the Islamic Republic of Iran, aka "the Iran deal," and the more President Obama saw that Americans of all faiths and political opinions realized that the pact was not in our best interest, and the more we heard the old anti-Semitic canards from the White House and the media.

Dawa at Chautauqua

The Chautauqua Institution, deemed an adult education center, is less education than it is indoctrination to the world of The Left. In the month of July, in an idyllic setting, the Institution invited Islamists who speak of "Love and Justice in a World of Suffering," hiding the truths about the suffering caused by Islam--both the harsh Sharia law already in effect for its adherents and to establish it in Dar Al-Harb (House of War), the countries not yet under Sharia--until the entire world will writhe under Islamic oppression.

Mosquitoes in the Mosques

The guidelines for Letters to the Editor of the Chautauquan Daily include warnings that libelous, demeaning or accusatory statements are unacceptable. This also means that the truth must be curtailed, for it is the truth that supremacist Muslims find inappropriate and offensive, even by those who perpetrate the acts. Nevertheless, I refer to guest speaker Hussein Rashid, who denied the intensity and frequency of religious violence, citing that Muslims kill a mere 17 Americans per year (surely, not in the year 2001), while mosquitoes kill an average of 750,000. This is the new Moral Inversion, that Sharia law is now moral and mosquitoes immoral. Are we to flick a wrist at jihadists and the growing body count? (According to Muslim historian Firistha, Muslims killed ~400 million Indian people during invasions and occupation of the Indian continent alone, bringing the worldwide total to more than 890 million victims since the birth of Mohammed.)

Benevolence Betrayed

To the best of my knowledge, when I was growing up everyone had a pushke, a tin can that served as an alms box. I remember two types, cylindrical and squared, always wrapped in paper with a Star of David, and a coin slot at the top. Each Sabbath (Friday) evening, we dropped coins into it, and when it was full, we would bring it to the local synagogue to be given to Jewish groups that would somehow help the Jews in Europe.

a la Fiorina

“There was once a civilization that was the greatest in the world.” And so began a mythical, deceptive tale by Carly Fiorina, when she spoke in praise of Islam within a mere two weeks of their bombing of the World Trade Center. The concern is not that she was attempting to deceive others, but that she, a person who aspires to the presidency of the United States, was herself deceived regarding the true nature of Islam, and that she has never retracted her statements.

Jihadists of tomorrow

Anti-Semitism is growing among German Muslim students. Following Koranic teachings, the early childhood brainwashing, and school books rife with politically biased indoctrination, these students openly declared that they will kill Jews, specifically threatening Max Moses Bonifer, student spokesman for the school system in Offenbach, Germany, a city of more than 16,000 Muslims.

What's Left

The Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman said that she would not use her platform of fame or share her strong leftist opinions inappropriately; therefore, she granted an interview to Steven Galloway, The Hollywood Reporter. Thus begins a peek into a leftist's psychology.(No sunspecs required.)

A Birthright Abandoned

The mission statement of the Central Reform Congregation avows community, diversity, and commitment for a vibrant, Jewish presence in their city, St. Louis, Missouri, but specific Jewish issues and Israel are not addressed. There is concern for a broad swath of social issues, although none to address Jewish survival and the ongoing, increasing threat of anti-Semitism by Islam and the socialist/communist Left. Rather, the congregants reach out to Muslims whose dedication to jihad (religious holy war) threatens Jewish and Christian existence; the Koran dictates jihad for every Muslim and death for every infidel.

Forward to Extinction

Jay Michaelson, contributing editor to the Forward, holds a position of unearned, unwarranted, and undeserved influence. Although he writes for a Jewish newspaper, he fails to inform his readers that Islam is the enemy of Israel, the Jewish people and, in fact, all of America, and makes judgments that work against their survival.

Remember: Sic Semper Tyrannis

Contrary to the Virginia state motto, The Virginia State Bar (VSB) has joined the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign of the tyrannical Muslim Brotherhood (MB); its president, Kevin A. Martingayle, a Virginia Beach attorney, cancelled the Mid-Year Legal Seminar planned for Jerusalem in November. The boycott is a non-violent war strategy, a means of denunciation and isolation consistently directed against Israel, the only democratic state in the Middle East.

AP: A Legacy of Propaganda

We've seen the way the Associated Press skews its commentaries, and this latest approach to delegitimize the State of Israel is to challenge her democratic values amid an expanse of dictatorships. After Benjamin Netanyahu's re-election to his post of Prime Minister, Dan Perry, AP's Middle East editor, writes, "with the occupation of the West Bank grinding on toward the half-century mark, and with Netanyahu's election-week statement that no change is imminent, hard questions arise." His question and answer are, "Is Israel a democracy? The answer is not so straightforward."

Destroy the History, Dread the Future

They present themselves as the religion of peace, but they are intolerant, eager to crush truth and the noncompliant. They will force their peace upon you, like it or not. Their methods are usually violence beyond one's imagination, so that the only ones who achieve complete peace are those who have been killed quickly, not burned, or hanged, crucified, beheaded, made to endure hundreds of lashes, buried waist high and stoned to death, thrown from a cliff, succumbed to infection from acid or barbaric Female Genital Mutilation, having one's limbs chopped off, or kidnapped for sexual slavery.

Dissociated Press

Associated Press (AP), one of the largest and most trusted sources of independent newsgathering, reported “Israeli house strikes killed mostly civilians.” It reported 247 airstrikes (bombings) in Gaza during the summer of 2014, killing 840. Of that number, 508 (60%) were civilians, 96 (11%) were terrorists, and 240 (29%) remained uncharacterized. The failure to seek identification of the “uncharacterized” reveals a scheme to reengineer the outcome, and a flawed count can only lead to a flawed conclusion.

Train of Thought

Of the many kinds of trains exhibited in Birmingham’s Wonderful World of Trains and Planes, in Birmingham, England, the only display in dispute was the model train set of Auschwitz, noted the Daily Mail. The photos included in the column certainly verify that the set was painstakingly designed to provide authenticity, was sufficiently informative, and respectfully and tastefully executed. Although I have visited Auschwitz, I have seen an authentic and replicas of boxcars in other museums, not to mention in newsreels, so I was dismayed to learn that only this one was considered objectionable.

The Moderate Vanguard

Just when everyone’s attention has been directed toward ISIS and some of the most despicable crimes ever committed, and our government is loathe to war with our planet's unequalled brutality, Jordan’s King Abdullah assumed the role of world leader. Such activity continues to distract us so that we ignore the evils unfolding within our own country – the war of the Moderates who exploit children in incalculable ways.

A Rutten Experience

January 29, 2015, was Hijab Day at NP3 High School, in Sacramento, California. One student who is interning for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) gave a presentation on Islamophobia and in no time at all, the befuddled faculty, staff and students were “encouraged” by principal, Tom Rutten, to wear a hijab – a veil that covers the woman’s head and chest.

BBC: A mission astray

The indictments one could level against the BBC are too numerous to mention and their range too extensive to fathom. As new stories air on the BBC, the narratives become more twisted to acquit the Palestinians and Islamists of every wrongdoing and, instead, reproach Israelis and Jews.
