More DHS insider from DC

As noted in my June 7, 2013 report titled DHS Insider: It's about to get very ugly, the additional information provided to me that was temporarily withheld from publication is now being released. The methodical and incremental release of information was (and is) deliberate, to allow other things to play out, such as the public exposure to the name Edward Snowden and his revelations regarding just how extensive the domestic surveillance apparatus is--and who the surveillance is actually targeting.

Am I a traitor?

The question hit me like a lightning bolt as I looked in the mirror upon awaking this morning. Am I a traitor to my country, to my fellow citizens of the United States of America? Have I abandoned all sound reason and logic and lost my moral compass?

DHS insider: It's about to get very ugly

--Originally Published June 7, 2013 Washington, D.C. -- Something quite unexpected happened just hours ago, in the dark of night, during a two-day layover in Washington, DC. My son and I are scheduled to take part in a seminar outside of Raleigh, North Carolina this weekend, so we combined our travels to include a side-trip to DC for a business meeting we had previously arranged. It was during this layover that something seemingly ripped from the pages of a spy novel took place.

Question over missing time deepens

I first brought it up with specificity in my article titled The Benghazi Deception on May 16, comparing Obama's missing "18 1/2 hours" during the time four Americans were being murdered to the 18 1/2 minute erasure of the Watergate tapes of the Nixon era. Exactly one week later, I clearly illustrated that Chris Wallace repeatedly asked David Pfeiffer, a top Obama official, "where was Obama" during the night when four American's were murdered in Benghazi. Mr. Wallace actually did what a good newsman should do, and repeated the question no fewer than eight-(8) times, but never received an answer or explanation. Nothing, nada, zilch. Crickets.

You’re out of order!

The 1979 movie And Justice For All is arguably the best cinematographic display of insanity and corruption in our legal system that continues to hold relevance today. It remains a near perfect illustration of judicial absurdity combined with personal and professional hubris that is repeated over and over in the U.S. The faces and names might change, but it was, and still is, a clear indictment of our legal system and certain individuals who believe themselves to be above the law.

Cloaked in misinformation

What's one of the most effective and expedient methods of taking an incident that is true and making it not only appear false, but outrageously and demonstrably false? You know the kind of false I mean... the "urban legend" type of false, causing anyone who hears about the incident to immediately dismiss it and attack the messengers as conspiracy nuts?

The Benghazi deception

It is interesting that the corporate media, like sharks attracted to chum in the water, is just now appearing to treat Benghazi as a political scandal similar to Watergate that took down former U.S. President Richard M. Nixon in his second term. While many people see the comparison, I not only see the comparison, but also sense a collusion of a different, more nefarious and less conspicuous type as well.

Ooops… Hot mic reveals lawmakers intent to confiscate guns

Every American gun owner, regardless of the state in which you live, is presently or will be the target of gun confiscation. A state-by-state framework of confiscation is being erected in front of us all to strip us of our rights under the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Proof of this nefarious intent of disarming citizens was serendipitously caught by a "hot" microphone at the conclusion of the May 9, 2013 meeting of the New Jersey State Legislature.

My Mother’s Day message to sons and daughters

It was during the "time critical" research project on which I have been feverishly working, trying to separate facts from myth while up against a looming deadline that my thoughts drifted to this year's Mother's Day holiday in America and, naturally, my own mother.

Checkmate: From global makeover to takeover

We're rapidly approaching a potential checkmate moment in the Mideast. There are 41 nations plus the U.S., for a total of 42 nations currently participating in military maneuvers off the coast of Iran. Despite all of the saber rattling about Iran, we are being deceived about the coming global battle, which will almost certainly begin in Syria, not Iran.

Unraveling the Benghazi cover-up

It will be exactly 40 years ago this May 17th that the Senate Watergate Committee, a special, broad committee convened by the United States Senate, began hearings to investigate the Watergate burglaries and a criminal cover-up of those activities. At the epicenter of those hearings was then-President Richard Nixon.

Bad moon over America

As the events in Boston played out over the last two weeks, one facet of this administration's actions kept troubling me. I couldn't quite see it through the dense fog of information and accusations at first, but then in the dark of a restless night after my oral surgery a few days ago, I looked skyward and asked God Almighty for some light on the big picture, because I'm a "big picture, bottom line" kind of guy. It seemed that within seconds, the clouds overhead began to break, and out of the darkness rose a full moon. Somehow it seemed like an answer, but how?

Boston-like bomb plans published by al Qaeda

-- Copyright © Douglas J. Hagmann and Canada Free Press A bomb-making manual, written in Arabic and published less than two months ago, made its rounds on sites used by Muslim terrorists worldwide. The manual provides specific instructions on the best methods of packaging a bomb using a pressure cooker. Previously, the English language Muslim terrorist magazine published under the name Inspire carried similar instructions, although the instructions contained within this newest manual appear to be far more advanced by comparison.

Demanding the truth about the Boston bombings

--Copyright © Douglas J. Hagmann and Canada Free Press Whether it was by design or mere happenstance, the bombings in Boston yesterday will be looked upon as a seminal event in America's post-9/11 history. At this point, few facts regarding the bombings have been officially disclosed and verified, fueling widespread and rampant speculation about suspects and motive. In real-world scenarios, investigations take time, and certain information, when prematurely or improperly disclosed, create unimaginable difficulties for "boots on the ground investigators" who are actually committed to doing their job.

North Korea: The bigger picture

Copyright © Douglas J. Hagmann and Canada Free Press Anyone who remembers the Cuban missile crisis or has an accurate historical understanding of those events just over a half-century ago will recall the tense talk of World War III by the average American. Russian missiles in Cuba pitted a face-off between the United States and the Soviet Union. It resulted in a naval blockade of Cuba and several days of uncertainty as the world watched and waited to see who blinked first. Although the crisis ended without planetary destruction by nuclear bombs, people understood the seriousness of the events and that the world stood on the precipice of a third world war.

Silence of the Lambs in America

In present-day America, we are being bombarded with increasingly dire headlines about the condition of our nation. Common elements among these headlines of domestic disorder and discontent are reports of unbridled government overreach into our lives, from much-publicized gun control laws, warrantless searches and seizures, to the perverse and absurdly shameful degradation of our human dignity at the hands of the TSA and the DHS.

North Korea: The larger picture

The drums of war are beating, but nearly everyone is being fooled by the direction of their echo. While the situation involving North Korea is indeed serious, information provided by my military and intelligence sources are telling me to advise others to look elsewhere to accurately pinpoint the location of the drums themselves.
