CNN producer who said 'American voters are stupid as sh*t' doubles down - believes he said 'nothing wrong'

If there's one thing people despise more than the media constantly pushing left-wing agendas and narratives, it's the utter contempt with which they view the American people. It's clear that - like most coastal lefties - they view 'flyover country' as a massive swamp filled with inbred hillbillies and slobbering morons who are mentally incapable of recognizing the media's genius. In short "real people" are the problem and their media betters are the solution.

Three states refuse to give voter roll data to President's commission on election integrity

Yesterday, we learned that President Trump’s commission on election integrity fired off a letter to all 50 state governments. In it was a request for voter roll data including "including their names, birthdays, the last four digits of their Social Security numbers and their voting history dating back to 2006." So far, three states - California, Virginia, and Kentucky - have signaled that they will not honor the request.

SCOTUS ruling causes Feds to abandon Washington Redskins trademark fight

Last week, the Supreme Court handed down a ruling in the Matal v. Tam case. Other decisions garnered bigger headlines, so you may not have heard about it. Here's the story, in a nutshell: Simon Tam is the front man of an all-Asian-American rock band called "The Slants."

Sarah Palin sues New York Times over editorial linking her to Gabrielle Giffords shooting

Well, well, well. It looks like Sarah Palin has finally had enough of the Gray Lady's lies. News broke last night that she is going to sue the New York Times for defamation - a claim stemming from the Times Editorial Board's decision to once again portray her as the inspiration for the Gabrielle Giffords shooting. I previously discussed the story here, but in case you missed it, here's the short version.

Watch as newly 'lawyered-up' Bernie Sanders dodges question about FBI bank fraud investigation

Over the weekend, you may have seen Chuck Todd worm his way through an utterly worthless 7-minute interview with Bernie Sanders. Bernie's wife is at the center of an FBI investigation into alleged bank fraud, and Senator Sanders may also be implicated because there's some indication that he used his position to pressure the bank into approving a bad loan.

SCOTUS allows most of Trump travel ban to go into effect - will hear oral arguments in the fall

Today, the Supreme court agreed to hear oral arguments regarding President Trump's travel ban that would impact people entering the U.S. from six predominantly-Muslim countries. They'll be hearing those oral arguments in the fall but, in the meantime, they've decided that most of the ban can go into effect. It's expected to take somewhere in the neighborhood of 72 hours for that to happen.

Chris Matthews laments hidden Trump vote and wonders 'what the hell' Jon Ossoff was selling

Like a lot of people, Chris Matthews wants to know why Jon Ossoff was running in the GA06 special election. He wandered into town, was buoyed by a tidal wave of out-of-state left-wing cash, revealed himself to be a guy without a message, and promptly lost. In a way, he was a bit like Hillary Clinton in that no one is entirely sure there was a reason for his candidacy.

Canadian Sniper sets world record with 2-mile kill shot against ISIS operative

When it comes to amazing snipers and their even more amazing abilities, we have a new world-record holder. An unidentified Canadian special forces operative has obliterated the old longest-confirmed-kill record with an astonishing 2-mile shot. The previous longest shot was made by a British sniper at a distance of 8,120 feet or 2,475 meters.

Mika and Joe trash Dems for having no message - but they're wrong.

That headline might be just a tad misleading. The Morning Joe super-team of Joe and Mika were discussing the Dems' failure in the GA06 special election, and they each had their opinions about why Ossoff couldn't get the job done. Both of them got close to being correct but, like Jon Ossoff, they couldn't quite get across the finish line. Chalk up another moral victory.
