It’s the President’s Policies—Not His Team’s Vision

It's been a gradual process, but we welcome former New York Times columnist Leslie Gelb to the realization that President Barack Obama's leadership has been disastrous for this country. Last October Gelb wrote, "While Obama inherited rather than caused many of the world's current crises, his habitual complacency and passivity prevent him from mitigating or resolving them."

Paris—The Latest Example of Islamic Jihadist Terrorism

While much of the media are doing contortions trying to explain why the latest terrorist attacks are either home grown, lone wolf, or committed by alienated youth, this misses the point. And yes, we realize that most victims of Islamic jihadists are other Muslims. Just look at the massacre in Pakistan last month of 141 individuals, including children and teachers. Or the one this week by Boko Haram in Nigeria that may have led to the death of at least 2,000.

Media Celebrate Obama’s “Audacity”

For the left-wing media, the period between the devastating electoral defeat the Democrats suffered in November and the end of the lame duck session in Congress this month provided an opportunity for Obama to act “audaciously” and fulfill promises he made to his base as a candidate.

Benghazi Congressional Investigations Roll On, Barely

The latest hearing by the House Select Committee on Benghazi was held on December 10th, as Congress is about to head out the door for Christmas. The hearing was unfortunately still focused on the far-from-independent State Department Accountability Review Board. It’s time to move on. There is plenty to investigate. The critics of any further investigation are citing the latest report from Rep. Mike Rogers’ (R-MI) House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) to argue that the whole investigation should be shut down.

Still Debunking the Benghazi Debunkers

Still Debunking the Benghazi Debunkers
The Washington Post, like The New York Times, is intent on declaring the Benghazi scandal dead and buried, as suggested in this recent cartoon, and in this more recent editorial. The latest item these papers are hoping will provide the final stamp on the story is a recent report issued by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

The Deceitful Selling of Obamacare Coming Home to Roost

The Deceitful Selling of Obamacare Coming Home to Roost Pundits, architects, supporters of Obamacare tried to deceive the American voter through obtuse, tortured legislative language. Decision to conceal the real failures of Obamacare didn't stop when the law passed; such efforts are ongoing

Left Tries to Blame Ebola Crisis on Republicans

Left Tries to Blame Ebola Crisis on Republicans
A new ad put out by the left-wing Advocacy Project seeks to link Republican budget cuts with the spread of the Ebola virus, a shameful fear tactic that could take hold among a populace rightfully concerned about this epidemic. While media organizations such as Time Magazine and Real Clear Politics have reported on the existence of the video, all they did was cite the ad, not challenge the veracity of its information. In doing so, they're acting as vehicles for spreading its misinformation.

Obama Administration Fails the Transparency Test

Obama Administration Fails the Transparency Test Eight examples of how the administration is obstructing the media. Journalists who cover the White House say Obama's press aides have demanded--and received--changes in press-pool reports before the reports have been disseminated to other journalists

9/11 Anniversary Brings New Revelations, New Investigations

9/11 Anniversary Brings New Revelations, New Investigations
September 11th will always be a somber date in American history. It has been 13 years since al-Qaeda terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, murdering nearly 3,000 people. It has been two years since the tragic deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya after the attacks on our U.S. Special Mission Compound and Annex, attacks that a bipartisan Congressional report labeled "avoidable."

President Obama's Credibility Is in Short Supply

President Barack Obama has consistently deceived the American people when called out on statements that he's made in the past, but the media have not consistently reported on these often farcical inconsistencies. However, the President's recent "evolution" regarding the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), a Sunni militant group active in those countries that has been beheading kidnapped American journalists, has been so obvious that it could not fail to spark some media criticism. So, too, are the President's contradictory comments on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. And much, much more.
