This morning we heard that Democrat Senators Gillibrand and Hirono had called on Al Franken to resign from the U.S. Senate. Then, the floodgates opened and what feels like half of Congress hopped on the bandwagon.
So far, there are 23 of Franken's colleagues demanding he shuffle off into the sunset - as well as the Chairman of the DNC.

According to Amanda Terkel, Washington Bureau Chief for the Huffington Post, Franken is planning on making "an announcement" tomorrow. No one knows precisely what that announcement will be but, as you can imagine, everyone is placing their bets...Sen. Al Franken should step down. Everyone must share the responsibility of building a culture of trust and respect for women in every industry and workplace, and that includes our party.
