A gigantic offshore wind farm that would ruin views from the Jurassic Coast could lead to the UK being stripped of its only natural World Heritage site.
The 194 turbines being proposed by French and Dutch power firms would dominate the horizon towards the Isle of Wight, a report has warned. The 656ft towers, which are higher than the cliffs on the island, would form the world’s largest offshore wind farm and risk driving away thousands of tourists. Read more:
