Here's what I really hate about these videos: It's bad enough that they're thrown together and filled with vomit-inducing banalities, but that's not as disturbing as this nagging feeling I have that, at least with some people, this crap might actually be effective. Really. That there might be some people dumb enough to support a felon who cheats at caucuses because these lame celebrities made this idiotic thing.
Tell me none of you are that stupid. I desperately want to believe that's true but I'm not confident. Give me hope. I need it.
I wonder if these geniuses know:
- The president can't grant anyone new rights.
- The president is not going to get you more money for the role you're playing.
- It's not the president's job to listen to you and meet your needs. You're supposed to do that for yourself.
- Hillary does not have a big feminine heart, and if you don't believe me, ask Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, etc.
But that doesn't really matter. What matters is how many people will watch this rot who don't know those things, and I'm afraid that will be a lot.
Well. I already thought Jamie Lee Curtis, Amy Poehler and Lena Dunham were garbage. Mary Steenburghen I have a soft spot for because of Back to the Future, but I've known for a long time that she was a big leftist. You have to put that stuff out of your mind if you're going to ever enjoy any sort of entertainment.
That said, there's no way to enjoy this video. It's horribly concepted and horribly made, in the service of a horrible message. At least Lena Dunham didn't take her clothes off. It's the only way I can imagine this could possibly be any worse.View Comments
